My heart is so heavy and I feel the pain of this man’s voice. I have been talking a lot with my family about what it was like growing up in Palestine in the 40’s leaving when the #Nakba happened in 1948 and returning after. Wanting to know what their life was like after. There is this indescribable pain behind their eyes. I have to share my experience as a Palestinian because I truly don’t think the general public understands how things work in Occupied Palestine.
