Sarah Alami Instagram – My heart is so heavy and I feel the pain of this man’s voice. I have been talking a lot with my family about what it was like growing up in Palestine in the 40’s leaving when the #Nakba happened in 1948 and returning after. Wanting to know what their life was like after. There is this indescribable pain behind their eyes. I don’t know where people got this idea that speaking up for Palestine means you hate everyone else. In fact those who speak up have so much love in their hearts they can’t bear to witness this and be silent. Please follow @eye.on.palestine and @middleeasteye @aljazeeraenglish . It is painful to watch but if you are advocating for human rights and equality it’s important that you don’t ignore this. And for those who say what about the hostages? Do you think we are some kind of monsters that wants to see them harmed? While the indiscriminate bombing happens along with starvation they are in danger too.
