Sarah Carter Instagram – New York makes me feel more alive than anywhere.
I don’t have to stay long for it to throw me right into the heart of my wildest dreams.
So many have come true here and some are still waiting on the edges of the yellow brick road.
When I wonder why I don’t live here, I think of that Bukowski quote “Find what you love and let it kill you.”
I think this city could kill me… but I would have done it… you know? Done it and died for it… that’s how I feel here… ready to die for it.
… and that makes me cry for even more courage which I have no shortage of.
I will say though, having Alice, giving birth to Alice felt and feels the same way… being ready and willing to die for her life, for the chance to be her mother, and to love that big… and there in lies the conundrum. | Posted on 07/Jun/2024 07:31:27
