Sarah Lian Instagram – Yesterday we finally got to see @syahmi.wrsn’s final showcase at @doubletreeptjayalakeside. He closes out our inaugural year #DoubletreeStudioResidency. His artwork has depth and invites a personal commentary on geopolitics while mastering different approaches to his art.
It was fascinating learning about his process and how his narrative is explored on a canvas. It has been a beautiful experience for me to witness the growth and journey of Syahmi along with @haziqsyawalstudio and @fadzrilfakaruddin as they all created unique work as residency artists!
