Our driver took us to the wrong place the day before and we saw working elephants that people were riding and men sitting on their heads with sharp tools to guide them. They were shackled when they were not riding. Their spirits were broken. Even our children could see this was wrong and heartbreaking. We turned around immediately and drove over an hour back to our hotel. Please don’t support riding elephants.
