Every year, about 1 ton of their bed sheets are returned, so as a solution to prevent waste, Koala has started making fair trade, upcycled tote bags out of their high quality linens, that are made in collaboration with Japanese people who have disabilities, providing them with new work opportunities. What a seriously remarkable solution to diverting perfectly good fabric from the trash while also contributing to the community. 👏🏼👏🏼
