Today, my dreams got EVEN bigger 🚀. But hey, Disabled or not, our dreams should never be limited, should they!? Thank you, infinitely, to all of the Team at Virgin Galatic for having me and for making the impossible feel possible. You are all out of this world. Huge CONGRATULATIONS to all the new astronauts and pilots today. And to VG, for now, taking 37 people safely into Space!! Here’s to your next chapter – I can’t wait to see Delta soon. It’s hard to put into words how it feels to be sitting upright, riding, after a week of not being able to move. Bed rest is where I feel the most disabled…riding is the opposite. Being paralysed is such a rollercoaster of emotions…the highs and lows are extreme, to say the least. Last week, I was in a very dark place, riddled with pain, frustrated and anxious. Riding out with my no 1 riding partner this weekend (@untamed_phoenix), getting some fresh Cali air with my music on (thanks @ben_tyrone & @tobydaviesmusic) through the canyons, some mud thrown in, and getting to ride with Aaron (@imaaronbaker) and Hans again and see Laquita (@laquitadian) and meet the rest of the Baker Family..was the perfect medicine. 🙏🏻 So grateful to be able to SIT up again, so thankful I healed so quickly, so grateful to have such magical people around me and soooo grateful to be back in action…bring on Monday 💪🏼

I went skiing/falling down a mountain this weekend, and it was fa kin brilliant. Sure, I got a mild concussion and won’t be able to move the only remaining limbs I have for a while, but it was TOTALLY worth it!! Thanks to the @nationalabilitycenter for getting me back on the slopes and for an incredible weekend – you are amazing – TY to @pcski & @vail_resorts too. Checkout 👉🏻@nationalabilitycenter for ALL adaptive sports (see my stories for more too) available year round for ALL types of adaptive participants (they offer scholarships for those in need too). And even bigger thanks to @wesley_of_the_wild for picking me up, dusting me off, letting me be a total pain in the ass (I am NOT a patient learner!) and for taking brilliant photos and vids for my article. Love you, buddy. #SitSkiing #NationalAbilityCentre #ParkCity #SkiParkCity #LearningToSki #Skiing #MonoSkiing, #AdaptiveSports #InclusiveSports #FallingOver #Learning #WheelchairUser #Paraplegic #ParkCityUtah
#ad – Hey all! As some of you might have noticed, I’ve been on bed rest for the past week but am finally back up…although I am taking it slowly! I’m looking forward to getting moving again… So, it’s PERFECT timing to join Aviva’s #MoveWithAviva Challenge. Aviva Health UK is challenging the UK to take a moment for ourselves every day and complete just 10 mins of well-being a day. For me, that will involve weight lifting, stretching, maybe some yoga, and getting outside for a bit. If you want to join me, you can head to @strava to track your movement (there’s a chance to win a variety of really cool prizes, too, which is nice!) The whole point of this challenge is to have fun for your well-being. It’s not about distance or performance, and ANY ability can partake. Let me know if you want to join me and what you get up to every day. I am so grateful to be able to move again. Let’s go! @avivauk
