Stella has been the Labour and Co-Operative MP for Walthamstow, since 2010
She has held a variety of positions within the Labour Party and, up until the General Election, was Chair
of Labour Movement for Europe and has campaigned for a continued
relationship with the EU and against Brexit induced parliamentary
deregulation.
She is committed to fighting for social justice and working with political activists, academics, lawyers, campaigners and communities across the country to make change happen.
Most recently in parliament, she’s championed women’s issues, and those alleviating poverty, and she is relentlessly pro European and anti nationalistic because she believes we can achieve more working together for change than by stoking divisions.
