Swarnaa Rajalingam Instagram – I discovered a lump under my armpit a couple of years ago which lead me down a rabbit hole of medical check ups (dw I’m all good – it’s extra breast tissue because I clearly don’t have enough of that right?! 🫠 🙃 – anyone need me to donate some over? 😁). Despite the medical scares and check ups after being told I’m all good to go I’ve been having to come to terms with the physical impact this change has had on my body. Having already gone through quite a journey in embracing my body and telling myself that my body can also wear swimwear or strapless dresses or anything sleeveless and rock it, this new lump had me feeling self conscious all over again. I hope to get rid of it someday but for the time being whether I do or not I need to embrace my body, embrace the changes happening to it because if I don’t I’m only depriving myself of wearing the things I want, experimenting and just exploring being me. So if any of you are experiencing changes in your body big or small that make you feel self conscious please know you’re not alone 💖
