Sylvia Kim Instagram – Thank you for inviting me to the lecture today, Mr. Daley🥰🙏. It has been ages since I last visited the school (to the level I forgot all the building names), and being here reminded me of all the dreams I had for my future and the many hours I spent studying in this place. I missed so many of my professors and ended up emailing and texting them out of nowhere after seeing the campus again😅. I am so grateful for the foundation I built here, which allowed me to dream of becoming my current self, and I am still dreaming bigger for my future self. I still have a remaining dream of studying or working in the US, but for now, I’ll focus on what I‘m currently doing. Reflecting on the past few years, I appreciate the experiences this place has given me.
기말고사 준비하는 모든 문이과 학생들ㅠㅠ (막 소파 아무 데서 드러누워 자는 게 마치 난 줄 ㅠㅠㅠ) 머리 곱게 묶고 허리 펴고 다니는 무용과 학생들 (항상 왜 이렇게 예쁘냐 하고 보면 무용과였음), 음대 건물 들어가면 그들만의 다른 세계였던 음악 하는 학생들(오늘 복도에서 우연히 들었는데 대박), 항상 자주 뵀었던 교수님들 사무실을 지나치면서 참 아련했다… 아직도 미국에서 일하거나 대학원 가고 싶다는 생각이 문득 든다. 나를 돌아보게 되는 작은 공간🫶
