Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! So, this savory pie is a perfect dish for NYE because making it reminded me of some things that are important. (I messed up as you will see in the video but it turned out pretty great in the end). First of all, don’t rush through life. Be patient. I have to work on patience with myself sometimes. I can be hard on myself and it really is unnecessary. Know that mistakes happen and it’s okay. Learn from them. Things don’t have to be perfect. Imperfections are beautiful! Sometimes things don’t turn out as we planned, expected or hoped for but often the bumps in the road will lead us down different paths of learning and growth, acceptance and discovery. If we keep pushing forward and don’t give up we can experience wonderful things we never imagined.
