Tanya Plibersek Instagram – Eastern quolls have been extinct on the Australian mainland since the 1920s. So it was pretty special to be able to release one into a new purpose-built wildlife enclosure in Booderee National Park.
Weāve invested $600,000 into the new 80-hectare sanctuary at the parkās Botanic Gardens. Its 1.8-meter-high fence and special curved top will help protect the quolls from predators like foxes. Proud.
