I remember feeling overwhelmed with the fast pace of television, but felt right at home as a guest star. I hoped to meet Ms Lansbury and tell her how much I loved her in Bedknobs and Broomsticks, but alas, we never met. (Tried to show Jack that film recently but he was bored 🤷‍♀️😂). My recent trip to Detroit reminded me of this #waybackwednesday moment. It was October 2020, when “Allison” was supporting @bettemidler ‘s “Hulaween” fundraiser by filming this while shooting #weneedtodosomething! @lisetteolivera patiently shot this while I was trying to get it in a “oner” with geese flying by, light changes, wind and sound issues. She was a trooper and we finally got this after the 75th millionth take! And since then, lo and behold the Sanderson Sisters did return! 👻😱

I stared at her Physical album for hours while listening to it; and I imagined I was roller skating into a mural like her; since the exact same mural from Xanadu was in Venice, California, right down the street from where I was born. (I also couldn’t believe she had a number with my first crush ever #genekelly in that movie). I had the opportunity to hear her sing in person at a fundraiser for friends of mine, who lost their daughter at a young age to cancer—all the while battling her own! She had an amazing ability to be innocently sensual! She was Magic and made everyone feel the same! @therealonj “Have to believe we are magic”!

Thanks Tesla for your fart features. Now every time I drive with my son, it takes us 20 minutes to get out of the car! 😂😑 💨
