The days were long and the nights of interrupted sleep even longer. After a week of being able to talk. Like really talk. And sleep. Like RESTFUL sleep. We feel more connected than ever. Not to mention an appreciation for our kids that we had lost. For those of you putting off that kid free trip to reconnect with your partner. STOP PUTTING IT OFF! Even if you can only get away for ONE night… your kids will be fine! Mommy and daddy need to make sure they are at their best!!!Hands down - Best week of my life with my best friend. And we can’t wait to do it again :) and yes… obviously we went on a cruise 🚢 ❤️ our favorite way to vacay! #couplestrip

Here’s what’s up: 2 days before New Year’s Eve we both (separately) felt God calling us to take a trip to Tennessee. Had no idea why. It was 8 o’clock at night and we decided to take a leap of faith. We loaded the kids into the car and drove 12 hours. As God would have it, some friends of ours who moved from Maui were living there and their parents house just happened to be available last minute. We were welcomed with open arms and a gorgeous place to stay. We spent the week exploring and one by one the pieces started to fall in place easier than ever. What was happening? We were so confused. We can’t just move to Tennessee! We had just spent the last 2 years living on and fixing this boat for our family to sail the world. But believe or not every time we were ready to leave the dock, something would break. We were still so determined to take our adventure, but yet now we felt such a strange pull to move inland to Tennessee.  Well.. here we are, two months later. The boat is about to be listed for sale and we are in a house, with no furniture and honestly no real idea why God has us here. We’ve had a few pregnancy scares since we’ve been here and I am so grateful with Gods timing on getting us off the boat and into a home. To be honest, He pulled us out of our comfort zone and now more than ever we have to trust and rely on him with everything….BUT, even in the confusion and with so many questions… we cannot wait for this new season with our growing familia. The peace and confirmation we receive daily has been unlike anything we have ever felt before. SO… If God is calling you to something…RUN don’t walk! Nothing like leaping right into what God has waiting for you

Life after Indy will be brighter because she brought us perspective. She brought us closer together. She made us stronger. She helped us grow in areas that needed growth. She was LIGHT in our lives and always will be. Don’t get me wrong. What we would give to have her in our arms now… but we don’t want to live in her LOSS… we want to live in her LIGHT. Gods peace surpasses all understanding. ♥️

Here’s what’s up: 2 days before New Year’s Eve we both (separately) felt God calling us to take a trip to Tennessee. Had no idea why. It was 8 o’clock at night and we decided to take a leap of faith. We loaded the kids into the car and drove 12 hours. As God would have it, some friends of ours who moved from Maui were living there and their parents house just happened to be available last minute. We were welcomed with open arms and a gorgeous place to stay. We spent the week exploring and one by one the pieces started to fall in place easier than ever. What was happening? We were so confused. We can’t just move to Tennessee! We had just spent the last 2 years living on and fixing this boat for our family to sail the world. But believe or not every time we were ready to leave the dock, something would break. We were still so determined to take our adventure, but yet now we felt such a strange pull to move inland to Tennessee.  Well.. here we are, two months later. The boat is about to be listed for sale and we are in a house, with no furniture and honestly no real idea why God has us here. We’ve had a few pregnancy scares since we’ve been here and I am so grateful with Gods timing on getting us off the boat and into a home. To be honest, He pulled us out of our comfort zone and now more than ever we have to trust and rely on him with everything….BUT, even in the confusion and with so many questions… we cannot wait for this new season with our growing familia. The peace and confirmation we receive daily has been unlike anything we have ever felt before. SO… If God is calling you to something…RUN don’t walk! Nothing like leaping right into what God has waiting for you
