Amanda Schull Instagram - This photo was taken about 1 month before my life forever changed.
I was excited as well as slightly daunted. I partnered with @gugu_guru to help me figure out what I needed in preparation for this little person who was about to take over my life and heart.
I’m sharing this because right now I know a lot of expectant parents are unable to go into brick and mortar shops to test and select products for their babies. Gugu Guru provides a personalized concierge service through which they get to know you, your needs, your budget and taste and recommend products that will fit your lifestyle perfectly.
I had no idea someone so small required so much stuff! Gugu Guru reduced my stress, saved me time, and helped me navigate the overwhelming world of all things baby to figure out what I needed on my registry and in my new life.
If you want guidance determining what you need and what you don’t, please use code AMANDAS20 for 20% off a Concierge Care or Expert Care package with @gugu_guru .
Ps. Don’t @ me. It’s plain orange juice in a fancy glass. •

Amanda Schull Instagram - For most of the my life the holiday season meant one thing: Nutcracker. Last year I had a special opportunity to participate in the classic ballet without stuffing a single tootsie into a pointe shoe 🩰.
It was an honor to narrate Ballet Hawaii’s unique version of The Nutcracker, which has since been EmmyĀ® award-nominated. For my friends in Hawaii, The Nutcracker: A Gift to the Community will be televised for two more nights on December 18th, and 25th on KITV at 7:00 p.m. Aloha and Mele Kalikimaka!šŸŽ„
1. Backstage (my happy place. Ps.That’s a mask, not some fancy new-age neckwear)
2. Mid-narration in the gorgeous Hawaii Theater (saying something terribly important, no doubt)

Amanda Schull Instagram - 25 years ago I was in the right place at the right time. I was in my favorite city, San Francisco, I was about to become an apprentice with one of the world’s best ballet companies, @sfballet, and I was given the opportunity to audition for and then portray the role of #jodysawyer in the movie #Centerstage. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that this movie would have the impact that it has. It shaped the course of my life. And I learned this past weekend that it has moved more people than I realized. Almost 25 years to the exact last day of filming Center Stage I had the absolute honor to attend @sfdancefilmfest screening of the film at the Herbst theater in San Francisco co-presented by my former company, @sfballet. Everyone in attendance was there to celebrate not just the movie, but also dance and the power of art. The divine @ladycamden whipped the crowd into a state of fervor I was truly not prepared for and I felt a swell of love from the audience that I will never in my life forget. We make art hoping that someone somewhere will see it and feel a stir within themselves that validates the countless hours of anguish in our pursuit. But to still feel the ripples of that affirmation 25 years later is astounding. I will carry the flutters you all gave me on the stage of the Herbst theater in my pocket for the rest of my life.
Thank you to the luminous @garenscribner for creating the most magnificent homecoming for me and the film. Thank you to the San Francisco Dance Film Festival for making the evening possible. Thank you to everyone who attended and said the lines aloud, and sang the songs and tapped the choreography and went on the journey with all of those young dancers. Thank you to @sonypictures for taking the risk on an unknown dancer for the role, I owe my path to that gamble. Thank you to patrons of the arts everywhere.

Amanda Schull - 44.1K Likes - This photo was taken about 1 month before my life forever changed.

Amanda Schull - 39.3K Likes - For most of the my life the holiday season meant one thing: Nutcracker.

Amanda Schull - 28.8K Likes - 25 years ago I was in the right place at the right time.
(and thank you to those who have actually read this very long-winded message)

Amanda Schull - 28.8K Likes - 25 years ago I was in the right place at the right time.

(and thank you to those who have actually read this very long-winded message) šŸ“ø: @reneffolsonproductions šŸ‘—: The exquisite @peggyhartanto Whose pieces always make me feel special. šŸŽ¤: Fantastic Q&A by the wonderful @tonybravosf

Amanda Schull - 28.8K Likes - 25 years ago I was in the right place at the right time. I encourage anyone who has space in their heart and home to invite a furry companion to brighten their life. Rupert has been by my side for 17 years and has made me immeasurably better for it. #nofilter #justdog
