Anna Paquin Instagram - 💔 I really can’t word it any better than Stevo did. 💔 Posted @withregram • @stephenmoyer On Friday our beautiful Banjo passed over to the other side. Wherever that is, whatever that is, it was mercifully gentle and he was surrounded by all of his loved people & of course, Dave. Over the past few weeks he has been slowly leaving us; we would walk a few steps and then he would lay down. Like in this pic from a walk last week. I would lift him, he would walk a few steps, then slowly drop to the floor & try to sleep again. It’s hard to describe the odd ball that Banjo was. He asked for nothing. From the outset. He always had his back turned to the wild world. He would seek out the nooks and crannies of a room and hide under tables and desks. He was rescued from a Puppy Mill back in 2009. I always wondered what had happened to him back then. When I saw him that first time at the adoption drive, all the other dogs were yapping and jumping up demanding to be adopted, but Banj was in the corner in a little heap with his body turned away and asleep. Tiny little rag doll. When I went over to look him in the eye he barely looked up at me - we were told he was part Louisiana Catahoula leopard dog. (Look it up - its’a thing) he was like a Dingo from the front with a greyhounds back legs and a leopards spots. One boss eye which meant you never quite knew if he was quite looking at you. There would be differences of opinion about the origin of his name, me romanticizing that we called him Banjo because he kinda looked like the genius Banjo player in Deliverance but the true story being that Anna loved the song ‘Old Susanna’ which has the lyric ‘Oh, I come from Alabama With my banjo on my knee I’m going to Louisiana My true love for to see’ It felt perfect somehow that he was our true love and he had found us. Our Louisiana lad. He was such a good good boy. So loved. So odd. And will be so so missed. Thanks so much to the extremely kind technicians & doctor at Bond Vet Manhattan. They took our whole family, & FaceTime student & Dave. 💜 @daveandbanj

Starting at 11:57 p.m. on Saturday night, police received several 911 calls from the venue, a nightclub called Club Q, according to CNN. Officers then entered the club and took custody of a person who they believed to be a suspect, per a press conference by Colorado Springs Police Lt. Pamela Castro. “Club Q is devastated by the senseless attack on our community,” the venue said in a statement on its Facebook page. “Our prays and thoughts are with all the victims and their families and friends. We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack.” According to the same Facebook page, Club Q had been hosting a drag night on Saturday featuring performer Del Lusional followed by a dance party featuring a DJ named T BEATZ. I continue to feel incredible throughout all the changes in my body and the calmness that has swept over my mind since my very first dose of testosterone. Being visible is not always easy—especially right now. The world is awash in misinformation about trans people, and those of us who are public in our transness tend to get a lot of negativity thrown our way. But it’s also an important time because of what’s happening. So, those of us who can be out there continue to do so for those who cannot for their own safety. And yes, for some it is really unsafe. Anna Paquin Instagram - Posted @withregram • @nowhitesaviors NO WHITE SAVIORS STATEMENT ON THE HBO DOCUMENTARY “SAVIOR COMPLEX’’ On 5th September 2023, HBO released the official Trailer of a 3-part Documentary titled “SAVIOR COMPLEX” which according to HBO is an examination of missionary work in Uganda where Reene Bach an American college drop out is accused of causing the death of vulnerable Ugandan children by dangerously treating them despite having no medical training.  No White Saviors; for a number of years documented the illegal and torturous acts of Reene Bach while she was still running Serving His Children an illegal health facility where she also practiced medicine without any qualification as a medical practitioner (you can check our IG for this) This would never happen in the USA. From our investigations supported by testimonies of Ugandan families that either lost their children under the unqualified and dirty hands of Reene Bach or had their children permanently injured, Reene Bach committed serious Human Rights violations and should be in prison. Unfortunately, she was able to flee the country before the authorities took interest in the case. In 2018, No White Saviors through support from its community ensured two families got legal representation and a case was filed at Jinja High Court. However, against our advice, the two families accepted an insulting USD 9000 each for them to withdraw the case. In 2020, four other Ugandan families who had also been victims of Reene Bach’s illegal and dirty acts approached No White Saviors to help them get justice. Three of them lost children and the other had their child permanently damaged. This case is still ongoing and we are hopeful that the affected families will one day get justice. Wherever that is, whatever that is, it was mercifully gentle and he was surrounded by all of his loved people & of course, Dave. Over the past few weeks he has been slowly leaving us; we would walk a few steps and then he would lay down. Like in this pic from a walk last week. I would lift him, he would walk a few steps, then slowly drop to the floor & try to sleep again. It’s hard to describe the odd ball that Banjo was. He asked for nothing. From the outset. He always had his back turned to the wild world. He would seek out the nooks and crannies of a room and hide under tables and desks. He was rescued from a Puppy Mill back in 2009. I always wondered what had happened to him back then. When I saw him that first time at the adoption drive, all the other dogs were yapping and jumping up demanding to be adopted, but Banj was in the corner in a little heap with his body turned away and asleep. Tiny little rag doll. When I went over to look him in the eye he barely looked up at me - we were told he was part Louisiana Catahoula leopard dog. (Look it up - its’a thing) he was like a Dingo from the front with a greyhounds back legs and a leopards spots. One boss eye which meant you never quite knew if he was quite looking at you. There would be differences of opinion about the origin of his name, me romanticizing that we called him Banjo because he kinda looked like the genius Banjo player in Deliverance but the true story being that Anna loved the song ‘Old Susanna’ which has the lyric ‘Oh, I come from Alabama With my banjo on my knee I’m going to Louisiana My true love for to see’ It felt perfect somehow that he was our true love and he had found us. Our Louisiana lad. He was such a good good boy. So loved. So odd. And will be so so missed. Thanks so much to the extremely kind technicians & doctor at Bond Vet Manhattan. They took our whole family, & FaceTime student & Dave. 💜 @daveandbanj

From our investigations supported by testimonies of Ugandan families that either lost their children under the unqualified and dirty hands of Reene Bach or had their children permanently injured, Reene Bach committed serious Human Rights violations and should be in prison. Unfortunately, she was able to flee the country before the authorities took interest in the case. In 2018, No White Saviors through support from its community ensured two families got legal representation and a case was filed at Jinja High Court. However, against our advice, the two families accepted an insulting USD 9000 each for them to withdraw the case. In 2020, four other Ugandan families who had also been victims of Reene Bach’s illegal and dirty acts approached No White Saviors to help them get justice. Three of them lost children and the other had their child permanently damaged. This case is still ongoing and we are hopeful that the affected families will one day get justice.
