I used to time IVF transfers around the possibility of a holiday pregnancy announcement, hoping each year would be the one. My husband and I bought this beautiful house…I mean project. It had potential written all over it. Here’s the problem…I really want to keep the original floors but we need to find a match for the rest of the house.

I found this amazing flooring company @lumberjackdirect. After speaking to them and hearing their ideas I knew they were the right choice. Oh did I also mention they care about the environment? They partnered with @onetreeplanted which means one tree will be planted for every product sold at Lumberjack Direct.

So here’s how we do this when I don’t live in Nashville… lumberjack direct sends out three sample stains from @rubiomonocoat that we picked together over the phone. Then they send out wood samples. I test out the stains on my original floor and then I test out the stains on the wood samples that they sent me. Whichever ones are the closest match will be the winners.
