Danielle Busby Instagram - NEW GLASSES 🚨 Hazel was totally due for a new pair of glasses. Her blue frames have seen better days 😂 They came in just in time before 4th grade starts next week too. She loves them, and so do we 🤓 *Hazel vision has been doing fabulous! With her prescription she sees around 20/40…which is a HUGE DEAL! There are some things she can view at 20/30 and even saw a few letters on the 20/25 line for the first time!!! Could not believe it, even the doctor was shocked! Seeing 20/40 is a big milestone bc you have to see at least 20/40 to drive…so as long as she stays on this great track, or get better, she has a potential to get a drivers licenses. I know that’s years away BUT it’s a huge milestone for her and I’m just so proud of this little girl of mine. Nystagmus won’t stop her from anything! 🤍 #hazel #nystagmus #itsabuzzworld #quintuplet

I look at you often and i have flashbacks to those days in the NICU, wondering for 3 long months if my little 2 lb 4oz baby A would ever be able to come home. 😢 At 3 weeks old you came down with an infection and had to be in isolation within the NICU (and boy oh boy, that made it extra hard for Mommy & Daddy to spend time with you). But little did we know what you were showing us then a bit of your little personality … which was ‘I am high maintenance’ 😂🥰 Ava Lane! You are still the same! Looking back and thinking of the journey God has placed me on, is a real miracle! When doctors said I couldn’t, I chose my Faith bc I knew God was BIGGER! This month of March we & @graesonbee are giving back to @marchofdimes ! This organization helped provide us with so many resources at @thewomanshosptx when I was there to deliver the quintuplets. From helping us as parents gain knowledge of what life will be like for babies in NICU, to also having educational playtime activities for big sister Blayke to see what she would expect when she were to see your 5 sisters in the NICU and not be scared. It’s an overwhelming phase of life, when one has to go through the NICU or have premature babies.
