Dominique Jackson Instagram - My condolences to his loved ones! May he RIP.
Dominique Jackson Instagram - This story is heartbreaking, but all so familiar. Domestic abuse and violence is something that is suffered throughout many different communities, for trans women , often tthere is absolutely no support for us as we go through these horrifying experiences only victim, shaming and blame.
I know that there will be lots of trauma to heal from but the good thing is that she is one that survived .

Thank you to @munroebergdorf and @gayemagazine for reposting and reporting these occurrences! @hopegiselle 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Repost: @them Drag icon and beloved British entertainer The Vivienne, known to friends as James Lee Williams, has passed away over the weekend at 32 according to publicist Simon Jones. Since, loved ones and fellow performers have shared an outpouring of tributes to the superstar.

Born in Wales, Williams took to performing from a young age, and moved to Liverpool at 16 to pursue drag. As the Vivienne, she eventually won the first season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K.” in 2019, and went on to compete in “Drag Race All Stars” all-winners season.

The Vivienne’s star was still on the rise. She was the first drag performer to compete on “Dancing on Ice” and as an actor, she dazzled in stage tours of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and “The Wizard of Oz.”

“It’s tragic that their career was only just beginning,” Jones wrote in a separate statement. “In musical theatre Viv had found a space and career they loved, excelled and thrived in.”

Dominique Jackson Instagram - Repost: @the_yvesdropper holding space and solidarity for the lives of our siblings that have been lost

1. our beautiful sister, 19 year old Sade Robinson. she was originally from Mississippi, and set to graduate from Milwaukee Area Technical College and pursue a career in criminal justice. she was reported missing on April 2nd when she didn’t show up for work after a first date, her car was found on fire the day after the date. her body parts were found mutilated near her car. her torso and arm were found by someone who was walking on the beach. Sade’s family and support system said “I can’t put it into words. It makes me want to cry, but you can’t cry. you have to be strong.” Sade, hey queen, hey sis, this is horrific and disgusting, you are more than this. i lové you, we lové you.

2. our beautiful non binary sibling, 17 year old River Nevaeh Goddard. they went missing 2 years ago and were found this month. their 20 year old boyfriend admitted to killing them with a sword. River was sent to live with their grandfather after their mother gave birth to them while serving a prison sentence. River was a survivor of child abuse and spent time in foster care. River was from Rhode Island. River’s friends said they were friendly, kind hearted, creative and artistic, they loved to write music, their cuddly nature was only matched by their quick wit and goofiness. River, hey angel, hey sibling, i lové you, we lové you.

3. our beautiful trans sister, 24 year old Meraxes Medina. she was killed in Los Angeles. her friend said “she was a go-getter, and I love that about her so much.” Meraxes worked as a makeup artist, she was found dead on the road in South Los Angeles, she was shot and also run over by a car. her family said this happened after she left home to meet up with a guy. another close friend said “please share your location with any friends, close friends, anyone, share your location.” Meraxes, hey angel, hey sis, i lové you, we lové you.

@them Dylan Gurley, a young transgender woman who would have been 21 years old on August 18, was killed in Texas on July 23.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, police found Gurley with “traumatic injuries” in a home in Denton, Texas at around 11 p.m. that night where she later died.

Her sister, Senica Ciarallo, is currently organizing a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds “to give Dylan the memorial she wanted and deserved.” The funds will go toward urns, bracelets, and necklaces to hold her ashes for those who were closest to Gurley, and the family is additionally planning an event to commemorate what would have been her 21st birthday. @them Warning: this article contains description of fatal violence against a Black person of marginalized gender.

“Abuja Area Mama,” a Nigerian self-described crossdresser and sex worker who documented her life on social media, was found dead by the side of a highway near her home in Abuja last week. She was 33 years old.

News of Ifeanyi’s death sent shockwaves across Nigerian social media. “We demand justice and an end to the violence,” representatives for The Initiative for Equal Rights (TIERs), a Nigerian LGBTQ advocacy organization, wrote in a statement on social media, referring to her as Chantelle.

Have a wonderful day beautiful people! 💞

@the.holistic.psychologist Every day, countless acts of violence take place in our world.

Every day, countless people die of substance use.

Every day, relationships fall apart. Differences of opinions cause people to become enemies.

Every day, people make impulsive decisions that alter their lives and the lives of those they love in heartbreaking ways.

And yet we never talk about the root cause: an inability to regulate our emotional state.

Domestic abuse and violence is something that is suffered throughout many different communities, for trans women , often tthere is absolutely no support for us as we go through these horrifying experiences only victim, shaming and blame.
I know that there will be lots of trauma to heal from but the good thing is that she is one that survived .

In the first slide the teacher took the young man’s vape pen( repost @theshaunabrooks ) : WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT YOUNG ARROGANT DISRESPECTFUL INDIVIDUAL? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO CONTINUE THE ROAD TO EQUALITY IF THERE IS NO ONE RESPONSIBLE OR PREPARED TO CONTINUE IT? EDUCATION IS IMPORTANT ! SELF CONTROL AND RESPECT ARE IMPORTANT! HOW MANY WILL FIND WAYS TO JUSTIFY THIS? ABSOLUTELY STARTLING HOW MANY CHILDREN ARE TURNING TO VIOLENCE, I WONDER WHERE IT COMES FROM?

1. our beautiful sister, 19 year old Sade Robinson. she was originally from Mississippi, and set to graduate from Milwaukee Area Technical College and pursue a career in criminal justice. she was reported missing on April 2nd when she didn’t show up for work after a first date, her car was found on fire the day after the date. her body parts were found mutilated near her car. her torso and arm were found by someone who was walking on the beach.

Let them call you names!
Let them form that narrative that makes them look good until THEY DON’T!
