Jennifer Esposito Instagram - We wanted to catch everyone up on the investigation of the attempted murder of our UES Emotional Terrorist, Margeaux Goldrich…Yes, i did say “attempted murder” because that is what getting pushed in front of a bus is called. The investigation is led by Detective Billie and Detective Chris Baxter from the NYPD 19th Precinct. We started to show you the footage from the most obvious suspect, her husband, Mike Goldrich… Come back on Monday at 12,3 and 6pm to see the rest of Mike Goldrich’s interrogation..more will be revealed

I’ve thought quitting is the most reasonable thing to do. MANY times. Yet, I keep pushing forward. Not sure how or why except a constant desire for better, for equality, for art, for goodness and for what matters. Walking-wandering - getting lost has always been able to clear my mind- especially in my favorite place Paris. There is something about the respect for art in Paris that I love. Jennifer Esposito Instagram - As our Documentary continues…Detective Billie is the lead investigator on the case for the attempted murder of Margeaux Goldrich. She is definitely a lethal weapon and master of breaking down a suspect. She is just starting to sink her teeth into Mike Goldrich, Margeaux’s 3rd husband. Mike had every reason to push Margeaux in front of a NYC Bus, starting with the 50 mil life insurance…stay tuned at 3pm for the rest of his interrogation. Jennifer Esposito Instagram - I posted this to my TikTok account and it’s caught fire. This is zero shade Kim or anyone so please refrain from leaving nasty comments. I thought what this creator/movie reviewer was saying was so important. She was saying that audiences are tired of being lied to basically. They know the difference between art and content and they are craving something more. Well, more is Fresh Kills and so many other small indies you may never see because they’ve been passed over. Indie films are all about art- even more now since it takes LOVE of storytelling since it almost impossible to make them AND you’re promised nothing when it’s done. It’s about the filmmaker NEEDING to share a story with you all. When that story goes to you it’s that connection that makes this experience one of the most important things we can share as human beings. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- ART is the only hope in connecting us on a simple human level. We learn about one another and ourselves. We simply cannot afford to lose this. Fresh Kills, as the latest review from Brian Cartwright @dailygrindhouse writes- “A lot of FRESH KILLS is about the unspoken agreement between parents and children to carry on after kids are burdened with the horror of knowing who their parents are.” This story is about family and the lies we hold deep within the family and with ourselves to keep us together. It’s about sisters, mothers and daughters and daughters and fathers- it’s about ALL of us. Which is why it’s hitting so many so deeply. Jennifer Esposito Instagram - My sister from another mister @alicia_coppola Alicia and I also use to sit on those NYC casting couches together (related to last post) waiting for our audition. The one difference here is she hated my life- and she did not hide it. She would give my a stink eye that could kill you. Years later when I saw on Instagram that she was doing stand-up I wrote to her with praise. I love women who show the fkuc up- afraid or not. She wrote me back and asked if I’d do her podcast. I said yes and the rest is history. Alicia was an incredible surprise to me at a hard time of trying to get my film made. So many that had been in my life- some for a lifetime- offered ZERO help to me in making this film. Sometimes just listening helps someone. The reveal of that was quite painful. Alicia not only offered help, support, ideas, but most importantly a safe ear to listen on the other side of our daily Marco Polos. I truly love you and will never forget the support you offered then and now. Have the best damn bday EVA, dear friend. No laundry today pls. She has an issue with laundry. Xoxo

Jennifer Esposito Instagram - As Britney said, if you want ( ?) “You better work bitch”. I’ve been writing about this recently- the great lie. Or -the many great lies we are told. Each generation of women there is a different bunch- yet all yielding the same outcome-Keep you exhausted on the road to equality. Which simply- does not exist. Yes, it’s set up this way. Make you doubt and hate yourself to the point of giving up. Make you so soul crushed that YOU couldn’t do it ,whatever it is, that you’ll buy into ANYTHINg you’re being sold to make you “better”. Better woman, better worker, better mother, better wife, better employee, look better, be more digestible, younger, more likeable and by all means less intimidating and etc etc etc etc etc etc etc…….. Just last week I spoke to a high level, female WOC, executive at a HUGE network. She’s in charge of developing shows and putting them on the air. We spoke about just this. She said to me -the fight is REAL- on the inside- to get content that is different from what we’ve seen for years is a DAILY fight. She spoke about how hard she had to work, and still does, to stay where she is and that making you weary is part of the agenda. Was I shocked- no I was not. However, how deep it all goes- that still gets me. This is all areas. Maybe time to look at it straight on. !? I Applaud @stylistmagazine for putting this out there. Go read article. Maybe you’ll start to realize YOU haven’t failed. You simply weren’t meant to win in the first place. Now that you know- what u gonna do?

Better woman, better worker, better mother, better wife, better employee, look better, be more digestible, younger, more likeable and by all means less intimidating and etc etc etc etc etc etc etc…….. Just last week I spoke to a high level, female WOC, executive at a HUGE network. She’s in charge of developing shows and putting them on the air. We spoke about just this. She said to me -the fight is REAL- on the inside- to get content that is different from what we’ve seen for years is a DAILY fight. She spoke about how hard she had to work, and still does, to stay where she is and that making you weary is part of the agenda. Was I shocked- no I was not. However, how deep it all goes- that still gets me. This is all areas. Maybe time to look at it straight on. !? I Applaud @stylistmagazine for putting this out there. Go read article. Jennifer Esposito Instagram - 3 Italians walk into a bar- On a serious note- I had the honor to talk to two amazing artists today about Fresh Kills. I remember when I was waiting endlessly on a financier to give me some money to make my film. One night I turned on, A Bronx Tale, to remind myself what could be done. Not soon after I went my own way and mortgaged my house to make my film. When you see someone go before you and bet on themselves it makes you believe you can do that same. Which is why representation is so vital! I hope I’m that for someone as the crazy talented @chazzpalminteri was for me that night watching his film. Jennifer Esposito Instagram - Walk With Me I haven’t taken a break from Fresh Kills in almost 5 years for many reasons. The toll it’s taken on my life, mentally, physically, monetarily has been drastic. The endless zooms, pushing, explaining, asking for permission, writing, editing, marketing, organizing, plotting, planning, explaining, not to mention the fearing of “what did I do” “Will this work” has been a lot- to say the least. In this country we are as good as what we produce. “Girl Boss” or “hustle culture” all designed to put money in the pockets of the ones that hold all the keys by making you feel like you’re never enough. Pushed you to keep running for the carrot in the stick that stays just out of reach. Then even when you do the thing and it’s good- still not enough. It’s designed that way on purpose. They say you see who you really r when you’re pushed to the mat. Well I’ve seen me- up close and in dark dark spots- and you know what- I’m good. Im very proud of not giving up and still won’t because I KNOW my value and what I’ve done. That’s becuz of YOU all too. I am beyond grateful to those, especially @jespervesterstroem for allowing me the space and the trust to go down this road with Fresh Kills. Which is why getting away now to just WALK- walk through lives, places, cultures, streets, of others really reminds you of what’s most important again- LIFE. The beauty out there is endless. Jennifer Esposito Instagram - Walk with me. As so many walk carpets in the Toronto Film Festival with their films, I’m here. They passed. No stars, too small, I don’t think anyone ever watched it at all. Such is life, I guess. This isn’t about glitz, walking carpets and getting my picture taken. I honestly hate all that. This is about justice for a good piece of art. Not judged on fame, money or the status I hold or don’t hold. It pains me to my core for me as the filmmaker, the producer, the actor but more-so , the human. A human who just loved movies as a kid and still tries to. Not gonna lie- it’s getting harder thou. So I’ll be walking, wandering, disappearing into these amazing streets where art, hope and even elephants on 14th street all exist. X Fresh Kills

We would alwayssss be going in for the same role but never felt competition for one another. From day one we wished the other well. So it’s so amazing to see those who you’ve known over the years do so well and thrive. I thought what this creator/movie reviewer was saying was so important. She was saying that audiences are tired of being lied to basically. They know the difference between art and content and they are craving something more. Well, more is Fresh Kills and so many other small indies you may never see because they’ve been passed over. Indie films are all about art- even more now since it takes LOVE of storytelling since it almost impossible to make them AND you’re promised nothing when it’s done. It’s about the filmmaker NEEDING to share a story with you all. When that story goes to you it’s that connection that makes this experience one of the most important things we can share as human beings. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- ART is the only hope in connecting us on a simple human level. We learn about one another and ourselves. We simply cannot afford to lose this. Years later when I saw on Instagram that she was doing stand-up I wrote to her with praise. I love women who show the fkuc up- afraid or not. She wrote me back and asked if I’d do her podcast. I said yes and the rest is history. Alicia was an incredible surprise to me at a hard time of trying to get my film made. So many that had been in my life- some for a lifetime- offered ZERO help to me in making this film. Sometimes just listening helps someone. The reveal of that was quite painful. Alicia not only offered help, support, ideas, but most importantly a safe ear to listen on the other side of our daily Marco Polos. I truly love you and will never forget the support you offered then and now. Have the best damn bday EVA, dear friend. No laundry today pls. She has an issue with laundry. Xoxo

I remember when I was waiting endlessly on a financier to give me some money to make my film. One night I turned on, A Bronx Tale, to remind myself what could be done. Not soon after I went my own way and mortgaged my house to make my film. When you see someone go before you and bet on themselves it makes you believe you can do that same. The toll it’s taken on my life, mentally, physically, monetarily has been drastic. The endless zooms, pushing, explaining, asking for permission, writing, editing, marketing, organizing, plotting, planning, explaining, not to mention the fearing of “what did I do” “Will this work” has been a lot- to say the least. In this country we are as good as what we produce. “Girl Boss” or “hustle culture” all designed to put money in the pockets of the ones that hold all the keys by making you feel like you’re never enough. Pushed you to keep running for the carrot in the stick that stays just out of reach. Then even when you do the thing and it’s good- still not enough. It’s designed that way on purpose. They say you see who you really r when you’re pushed to the mat. Well I’ve seen me- up close and in dark dark spots- and you know what- I’m good. Im very proud of not giving up and still won’t because I KNOW my value and what I’ve done. That’s becuz of YOU all too. I am beyond grateful to those, especially @jespervesterstroem for allowing me the space and the trust to go down this road with Fresh Kills. Which is why getting away now to just WALK- walk through lives, places, cultures, streets, of others really reminds you of what’s most important again- LIFE. The beauty out there is endless.
