Caption : My boyfriend did the most loving thing he could do for us…he broke up with me. Honestly, it still feels surreal, but I know this is the best for both of us, as our values are not compatible enough for both of us to thrive within the relationship. I just watched The Breakup yesterday (had no idea I was going to get broke up with later that day) and a I wrote this down as a takeaway, “I want to be with someone who WANTS to do the dishes, without them having to sacrifice who they are/want to be.” Him giving me the level of connection that would make the relationship a level 10 for me would be sacrificing his need for independence. So, we’d never be able to both me at a 10, so our ceiling was capped, and he said “I know you’ll find someone who together you can be at a level 20.” Now it makes sense…a while back I rated my relationship satisfaction an 8 and he rated it a 3-5. And a couple weeks ago, he rated it an 8 and I said 4-6. I was having mixed feelings about our relationship and asked the universe yesterday for a sign to point to whether we should stay together or break up and to make it obvious enough that I would see the sign. Well, I got what I asked for, him saying “my intention coming over tonight is to break up,” was obvious enough for SURE. 😜 The ending of a relationship doesn’t mean failure to me. Tim & I had so much love, growth, and support for one another and I’m SO SO SO grateful to have had the journey that we did. We are both hopeful we can be friends sometime down the road. He’s an incredible human being.

Caption : For our mental health, we need to stop comparing and despairing and also re-define what success is. “If I’m going to be competitive with anyone, I’d rather be competitive with myself. How do I be a better version of myself? How do I give and offer more to the world? So, I think I measure myself based on just being the best version of myself. When it comes to my career, I think it’s a much healthier approach. I’ve been working through external validation because, growing up, I was under pressure to perform and be accepted if I did well, such as getting good grades. As a result, I still put pressure on myself to do a good job nowadays. But we should all measure success based on things we have control over. So, rather than being results-oriented, I think it would be so much better for us to see success as taking action, being process-oriented, and building great habits that will lead to the external things we want in our lives. Caption : For our mental health, we need to stop comparing and despairing and also re-define what success is. “If I’m going to be competitive with anyone, I’d rather be competitive with myself. How do I be a better version of myself? How do I give and offer more to the world? So, I think I measure myself based on just being the best version of myself. When it comes to my career, I think it’s a much healthier approach. I’ve been working through external validation because, growing up, I was under pressure to perform and be accepted if I did well, such as getting good grades. As a result, I still put pressure on myself to do a good job nowadays. But we should all measure success based on things we have control over. So, rather than being results-oriented, I think it would be so much better for us to see success as taking action, being process-oriented, and building great habits that will lead to the external things we want in our lives. Not because I didn’t want to work on The Flash, of course! ⚡️ It’s because I was supposed to go on an amazing trip that conflicted with the shoot dates. ✈️ So when I got the audition, I thought to myself, “I want to do a solid job and continue to ‘book this office.’ But part of me doesn’t want to book THIS particular role because I committed to my trip. And guess what? That attitude ended up freeing me up! I ended up adding some silly dance moves 💃 to one of my scenes, and gave myself full permission to just PLAY. …And then I BOOKED THIS DC SUPERVILLAIN ROLE! 🦹‍♀️ 🎬 No regrets of course 😉 I’m SO grateful that I got to play supervillain Rainbow Raider 🌈 2.0 on such an incredible show! This experience taught me that if I can just relax enough to get out of my own way and let my fun-flag fly 🏳️‍🌈 I have a MUCH better shot at booking. Caption : A painful moment of failure 😫 from 2 angles 😝: I was playing in the NFL Flag championship game, down by 1 point and we went for 2 points for the win. The stakes are high and the tension is palpable. I felt very confident in my playcall and my reads. Seeing the defensive pre-snap alignment, I audibled a route to one of the receivers. Then, I went to take the snap… …and dropped it. Game over. I had my head in my hands and was so frustrated with myself. I just let down my entire team. I’ve caught MUCH more difficult snaps and rarely ever drop a snap. Learning Lessons: 💥 Always focus on the present moment, don’t look too far ahead. I was looking at the defense while taking the snap so didn’t look the ball all the way in. 💥 It’s easy to lose confidence when we make a big mistake and we keep beating ourselves up, but those moments don’t define us and we get to remind ourselves of who we are and embrace the fact that we are human as well 💥 In the game of life, we often celebrate our triumphs and victories, but it’s equally important to embrace our setbacks and failures. Mistakes happen and what matters is how you bounce back from them.
