Caption : I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and respect to President Biden. He reached what had to have been an extremely difficult decision, but he did what is best for his party and his country. Clearly in his heart he shares the goal of the many millions of Americans who wish to see Democrats defeat Donald Trump in November. The nomination of a new Democratic candidate must be opened to a genuinely democratic process at an open convention. No one should simply be anointed to the position of nominee; all candidates must be heard and their agendas explored. Our party’s basic first principle is democracy. We cannot save our democracy without practicing it ourselves. I look forward to taking my message to the American people, and convincing Democratic delegates, that I am the best candidate to take us to victory in November. Donald Trump has broken the mold, and we must break it too. He has introduced an age of political theatre that cannot be successfully countered by a status quo politician, however good they might be, for we are living in a different kind of moment. We will inspire the American people with a compelling vision of their improved material conditions should they elect Democrats in November. My proposed policy prescriptions dismantle the matrix of corporate tyranny that now limits the economic opportunities of a majority of Americans. The Democratic party must recommit to our most important first principle: an unequivocal advocacy for the working people of the United States. We will not bend to the economic royalists who have ripped apart America’s social safety net and caused such suffering to so many people. We will reform the economy. We will save the planet. We will wage peace. That is my message, and with it we will win.Likes : 31014

Caption : I called for the President to step down from his renomination bid the day after the Trump-Biden debate. Effective crisis management would have called for all those who are calling for him to step down now, to do so immediately – when I did. They did not do so because they were waiting until they could consider it a politically safe thing to do. That’s how much control the party holds over its elected members. Yet ever day that Democrats have waited, they ceded ground to Trump. And even now when they discuss opening the nomination, their ideas of who should step forward are political leaders who have felt too fearful of the party’s ire to stand up and speak before now. (I do not include Kamala Harris in that group because it’s literally her job to support the President and I respect that.) Do we need a Democrat to beat Donald Trump? Oh YES! But the soul of the Democratic party does not lie with the Democratic Party machine. I am an FEC registered qualified candidate. I am on the ballot. And despite a media blacklisting of my campaign and the most absurd kinds of character assassination, I received half a million votes in the primary. My platform would be considered moderate in any other advanced democracy. I hope my supporters – as well as those who do not necessarily support my agenda yet support the practice of democracy itself, and do not agree with political parties having the right to obstruct or to manipulate it – will join me in insisting that I have the right to be in any open convention contest going forward. Any debates. Any Town Halls. Any contention whatsoever. No, I’m not politics as usual. But that is the point. Neither is Donald Trump…which is why I’m the one to beat him. Caption : Pacific Palisades isn’t a place you expect to simply disappear one day. It was a beautiful neighborhood. The loss is as shocking as it is devastating. I imagine the trauma of people who woke up yesterday thinking it was a normal day, then next thing they knew it was all disappearing in front of their eyes — terrifying, life-threatening, almost incomprehensible. You come to expect forest fires, living in California. But this was something so beyond what we have seen before. My heart goes out to everyone there. The parents, the children, the animals, the businesses, the firemen. God Bless every one of you. Dear God, Please give comfort, hope, And peace To those enduring this agonizing hour. Caption : Walz was a good choice. He had me at “Free breakfast and lunch for every child at school.” By the way, that will improve the educational performance of those children and ultimately their ability to create wealth and opportunity for themselves. Don’t let anyone tell you that’s a “free handout.” It’s nothing compared to the free handouts we give to the very rich in this country in the form of tax cuts, etc. Martin Luther King said, “If they give it to the poor, they call it a handout. If they give it to the rich, they call it a subsidy.”Likes : 15408

Caption : I’m a major fan girl when it comes to the Princess of Wales. When the news was first announced that William would marry Kate Middleton, I remember thinking. “Oh that’s sweet. I mean, she’ll never have the magic of Diana but she’s a lovely girl.” I was right and I was wrong. Kate Middleton didn’t have the inherent charisma of William’s mother, but she achieved it nonetheless. She earned her magic, as a woman and as a public figure. We watched her go from nice girl to extraordinary woman, not only in terms of her beauty but in terms of her activism as well. We saw her concern for people less fortunate than she, and her repeated projects and support for actual people and what they were living through. From her artistic projects during Covid to her obviously sincere work involving mental health and the needs of early childhood, more than once I found myself thinking. “Wow, she’s kind of amazing.” I know she’s incredibly privileged, of course. But it still takes tremendous energy, intention, and goodwill to so consistently show up the way that woman does, plus raise three wonderful children at the same time! Add to it all the behind-the-scenes royal drama the rest of us can only imagine, and I have found myself among her biggest fans. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 39 years old, and at the time she had three little girls. I have some personal experience with the layers of pain and sorrow that Princess Catherine and her family are now enduring. Her situation is just so deeply sad. I’m not quite sure why Americans feel such a connection to the British royal family, but I know many of us do. On one hand I’m glad that in America we don’t have a royal family, but I see their spiritual significance in some countries where they do. I can only imagine the tears being shed for Catherine in Great Britain today. I’ve shed a few for her myself. May she be blessed and healed. May God’s hand be upon her, giving her comfort and strength at this difficult hour. May the spirit of God be upon her and upon all those who love her. May she be miraculously restored to the fullness of life. AmenLikes : 14557

Caption : I cannot for the life of me figure out why CNN and MSNBC are so obsessed with the Trump hush money trial. But it is what it is. I turned on the news for a few minutes today and I heard them discussing the Access Hollywood so-called pussy tape. I have my own little anecdote to pass along. During the 2016 election, I got a phone call from TMZ or whatever it was that published the tape. They told me there was a section of it they had not been airing but in which I was mentioned, and they were wondering if I’d like to have it. Apparently, Trump had said to Billy, “What about Marianne Williamson? Who is she?” Bill replied that I was an author in LA and that I founded this organization called Project Angel Food and that I was an activist or whatever and Trump then just said “Really? Is she hot?” Billy replied, “ Nah, she’s old.” At the time of that tape (2005) I was 53 years old, as in the picture above. When they asked me if I wanted the tape, I said no, that I wanted nothing to do with any of that. But now I wish I’d said yes! A bit of a time capsule if nothing else. I wish I had it to play for you now. Some men will be boys…Likes : 12404

Caption : Saturday was the deadline for filing as a Democrat running for the nomination for President. We did everything possible to stand for a blitz primary and an open convention. Yet the way the rules were made there truly was no way, Kamala’s momentum was in full swing, and all we could do now is create noise. I was in the race to create fundamental change, yes – but not as a chaos agent. Things being what they are – including the fact that defeating Donald Trump has always been and continues to be the goal that most matters – it was time to let go. To those of you who supported my campaign- as voters, volunteers and donors -I salute you and I thank you. For years I’ve been intrigued by Gandhi’s message that “politics should be sacred.” And I saw things that convinced me it could be that way: people entering the political conversation not only with their heads but with their hearts, not with anger but with love, willing to look beyond artificial divides, honoring the truths of our history, bringing the fullness of themselves to the process, and harnessing all those things for political purposes. I saw it. I felt it. I know it’s possible. For many reasons, I was not able to achieve that. What matters now to me most is not what we didn’t achieve but what we did achieve; and we achieved a lot. There were moments too numerous for me to count where I know without a shadow of a doubt that we shed light in the darkness of confused minds, inspired hope in the spirit of hopeless citizens, and motivated people to get involved and stay involved until justice shall be done. For myself, I believe our most urgent task now is to make sure Donald Trump does not return to the White House. That conviction is what will determine my vote on election day. That which brings likeminded people together in service to a more beautiful world is a significant bond of affection. For the honor shown me by my supporters this last year, my gratitude is as deep as the sea.Likes : 12091

Caption : Regarding JD Vance and his comments questioning whether childless people are fit to lead the country… I was fortunate enough to become a mother. My daughter was fortunate enough to have godparents – all of whom were then childless themselves – whose maternal and paternal instincts and behavior contributed every bit as much as I did to her becoming the outstanding woman she is today. I’ve known many men and women who never had children but who – as aunts and uncles and godparents and teachers and friends – play profoundly important roles in the lives of children. To say childless people lack an understanding of our responsibility to younger generations is deeply untrue, as well as maliciously hurtful to millions of people who do more than most people have any idea to lift up our children. Bravo to all of them.Likes : 9702

Caption : On social media, some have suggested I should be more loving towards Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Like, “What happened to the lady who wrote A Return to Love?” I tilt my head, pretty sure we’re supposed to show at least equal compassion to those whose lives are being traumatized by those gentlemen’s actions these days. I admit I feel less urgency to love the perpetrator than I do their victims – particularly federal workers who have served their country well and at the very least do not deserve the insults thrown at them as they’re told to leave, or former recipients of lifesaving food or medicine who now have nowhere else to turn. But I do get the point that we’re called by God to love everyone, and I don’t take it lightly. I’ve been praying for Donald Trump for years, and I’ve gotten to the point where I get it, he’s an innocent child of God and so forth. Several friends have told me “He’s not like that in private, Marianne. He’s lovely at dinner,” which weirdly is supposed to make me feel better. I admit Elon Musk presents more of a challenge for me now, but I’m working on it. I’m reminded of this quote from Martin Luther King Jr.: “God said we have to love our enemies, but He didn’t say we have to like them.” King also said, “Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic.” I see what Trump and Musk are doing as reckless and abusive – and a sentimental and anemic love an inadequate response to this moment. People frequently question how Jesus could have kicked over the tables of the money-changers, but no Jew or Italian would have a problem with that scene. To some of us, that kind of thing isn’t anger…it’s personality! I’ve noticed that people who speak in sticky sweet syrupy vocal tones are often those who carry the sharpest emotional knives in their pockets, just waiting for you to turn around. Love is emotionally tender, but also fiercely intelligent. And it’s more than capable of saying no… (read the rest of THE HEART’S RESPONSE TO THIS WORRISOME HOUR) on Linktree or at mariannewilliamson.substack.comLikes : 9360

The most excitement you get from establishment Democrats these days is celebrating the fact that the President finished a State of the Union without losing his train of thought. And that’s a problem, because Donald Trump has a lot of excitement on his side. So does Robert Kennedy, Jr. for that matter. The idea that a message of “Be afraid, be very afraid,” or “Cheer up, 39% of you are skipping meals to make the rent but the stock market is doing great, so be happy!” is not going to win the election for Democrats in 2024. The blunt truth is that a person has to be somewhat privileged to think that saving democracy is the only thing – or even the most important thing – we have to think about in 2024. The uncomfortable reality is that to a hungry person, putting food on the table does seem more important than saving democracy. If anything, history shows that desperate people are more, not less attracted to a political strongman. And that’s what makes this moment so dangerous. Democrats desperately need to awaken from the establishment-concocted trance that led us to this moment. The Party is bleeding voters now – from Black voters, to Asian voters, to young voters, to Latino voters. The idea that raising the money to buy enough TV ads is going to be enough to put the 2020 Biden coalition back together again is a very weak plan for victory in 2024. Caption : I grew up in a home where all the aunts and uncles and cousins had breakfast together on Sunday morning. This would be a common conversation: One of my uncles would say, “Don’t listen to your father, kids. You’ll never make a dime!” Then my father would say, “Don’t listen to your uncle, kids. He won’t survive the revolution!” Then my mother would walk in and say, “So who wants white fish and who wants roast beef?” The climax of the conversation? “Okay, let’s eat!” In other words, there was always political cross-talk, political arguing, defense of or scorn directed at this political figure or another. But there was a firewall between all of that, and any kind of personal animosity. The hatred we’re directing at other people for no other reason than that they have the audacity to disagree with us, is so toxic at this point that it’s destroying the fabric of our society. No one owes it to us to agree with us! And no one has a monopoly on truth! Judgement should be saved for unjust systems, not individuals. At this point, it’s becoming emotionally unsafe to even express an opinion anymore. Politics and political sharing should not be a psychological blood sport. Is that the world we want to bequeath to our children? This is a time for processing, for listening, for thinking, and yes, for many of us, for praying. This country is in trouble, everybody knows that, and the people who disagree with us aren’t automatically our enemies. The next 70whatever days are going to be so awful if we don’t get control of ourselves. And after that, oh my God. We decry the divisiveness, yet we divide ourselves constantly. I think the most important thing we can do today is forgive each other, have some mercy on each other, give each other the benefit of the doubt. Everybody is hurting in some way, and no one is perfect. Let’s try to show some respect. And show some love.Likes : 8059

Caption : As of last night, President Biden has secured all the delegates needed to win the Democratic nomination for the Presidency. I congratulate him on his win. I, like many others, am deeply concerned about the prospect of Donald Trump becoming President again and I do believe he poses an existential threat to our democracy. I have said throughout the campaign that I would never do anything that I feel would help Donald Trump regain the White House. A stand against fascism is now our most urgent concern. But I agree with Franklin Roosevelt when he said we would not have to worry about a fascist takeover in this country as long as democracy delivered on its promises. And our democracy does not now deliver on its promises to the majority of Americans. I have been traveling the country for the past year, and I have a very strong sense of an energy that is about to blow. People are desperate, and they are not feeling that Washington hears their cries for help. If the President does not offer a more inspiring agenda to the electorate than he is currently offering, then I fear defeat in November. For that reason, I do not intend to be quiet now. Half the states have not yet weighed in with their primary votes, and for those where we are on the ballot I plan to travel and speak my truth. The truth is, the Democratic Party is losing voters at a time when we most need them. Black voters, Asian voters, Muslim voters, and young voters are among those headed to the door in way too many cases. I continue to feel that my agenda is the one that would inspire them. I have said repeatedly that I do not believe the greatest electoral risk to the Democrats in 2024 is people voting for Trump, but rather people staying home and not voting, or voting for a third party or independent candidate. What I will be doing over the next few weeks is what I think of as a kind of shadow campaign, continuing to share with voters the analysis and policies that I believe would make the difference between winning and losing in 2024. I hope you will stay with me as we continue the radical telling so needed in our country today. (Please donate at Marianne2024.com or at link-tree. Every bit helps)Likes : 7706

We must be radical truth-tellers at a time when there is a rush to deny such truths. At a time of decline and corruption, we must be willing to say so. At a time of intolerable human suffering, we must be willing to say so. At a time when faith in the possible and love for each other are our greatest powers, we must be willing to use those powers to the best of our ability to serve a greater good. Caption : I am grateful that as of right now, over 200,000 people have voted for me for President. Given the myriad efforts to block my candidacy, I take those votes very seriously. I’ll continue to honor the trust that they signify. They are a cry for fundamental change in America. Many people believe, as I do, that nothing less than a transformative vision will stave off potential disasters that stand before us. While some argue that I should drop out of the race, graciously support President Biden and join the effort to joyfully defeat Trump in November, I know too much and have seen too much to agree to such a move. The President is not out campaigning. He is not truly out among the American people. He does not seem to register what people are actually going through. His handlers if anything are keeping real people away from him. And unspoken by most but seen by everyone, he does not display the physical or mental vitality necessary to take on Donald Trump. That’s why I’ll remain in the race, looking forward to picking up even more votes in the states that have not yet weighed in. Our staying in the race is an effort to increase the possibility that I will have a voice at the Democratic convention. In order to win in November, we must acknowledge that 39 per cent of Americans are skipping meals in order to pay their rent – and do something about it! We must acknowledge how difficult it is for millions of people to live on just one job, pay their medical bills, or even afford their rent – and do something about it! We must not simply brag about what we’ve accomplished already, when for the majority of Americans their lives are lived on the edge of disintegration and despair. The system is in too many ways self-satisfied, exclusive, and closed in upon itself – but we must change that. We need to save our democracy from Donald Trump, that is true. And in order to do that, we need to stand for a more powerful alternative to what he’s offering. I remain in the race in order to try. Please invest generously in this critical effort. It’s our time, right now…🇺🇸💙 Marianne2024.com or in link treeLikes : 6170

Caption : “All men are created equal” is our national creed, and it should apply not only to Americans. In terms of the relationship between Palestinians and Israelis, throughout my campaign I’ve argued that America’s highest alliance should be with humanity itself. We should be equally and robustly committed to the safety, security and sovereignty of both peoples. The greatest way we can support peace between Israel and Palestine is to do our best to love them both. Regarding the war in Gaza, as President I would not have given Netanyahu the leeway he has been given. I would have told him that while the U.S. fully supports Israel’s defeat of Hamas, not one dollar or weapon would be given by us until 1) I saw their strategy for how they planned to do it; 2) their plan for how to protect civilians; and 3) I knew their intention for what would happen the day the war ended. Unequivocal financial and weaponry support that has been given to Netanyahu since October 7 has been a very poor strategy on the part of the President, and leaves us with much less leverage in trying to influence Netanyahu’s behavior than we might otherwise have had. The protests on college campuses going on now reflect for the most part a sincere and well-intentioned desire for a ceasefire in Gaza. But seeping into the pro-Palestinian movement of those appropriately decrying injustices toward an oppressed people is also a dangerous antisemitism – the opposite of cries for justice. All students should feel safe on campus. Tonight is the Jewish Passover Seder and for many American Jews, there’s anxiety surrounding this night the likes of which we’ve never experienced. Many of us have long been advocates for the rights of Palestinians, but what is occurring now could distort the pursuit of justice. Support for Palestinian rights should not translate into support for Hamas. Nor should support for Palestinians translate into hatred toward the Jewish people, or a delegitimizing of the right of the state of Israel to exist. The moral as well as political basis for a 2-state solution is that both Jews and Palestinians have the right to a sovereign state. Both peoples deserve peace, and both deserve love.Likes : 5696

Caption : In ACIM it says you can have a grievance or a miracle, but you cannot have both. Holding a grievance is a way of keeping your personal universe frozen. Continuing to attack someone else in your mind, you are attacking yourself. Why? Because there is only one of us here. So when you think of people towards whom you hold grievances, your emotional salvation lies in letting it go. There is something profound about accepting things – and people – exactly as they are. It isn’t condoning anything, it’s simply allowing a power higher than yourself heal the situation. Once we get to this place, then even if we need to hold a person or system accountable we do it in a different way. We’re coming from a different place within ourselves. Everything we do is infused with the energy with which we do it. If we are judging people for the way they acted, we are wrong even if we are right. Only when we give up the judgment, can we be a conduit for a miraculous shift in the situation. The universe is intentional, always bending in the direction of the next best thing, the miracle, the healing, the repairing of the wound. But by holding grievances, we stop the action and stay stuck in the place where our victimization supersedes the possibility of a new beginning. Whoever it is towards whom you hold any level of grievance right now, consider that it’s fine the way they are. At the deepest level, your pain doesn’t come from them being the way they are but from you wanting them to be different. By judging them, you are judging yourself. By releasing them, you are releasing yourself. Let it be. The universe will handle this much better than you can.Likes : 4183

Caption : Certain principles should guide us now. 1) Do not go to sleep. Do not allow yourself to minimize the problem or to nullify your seriousness. Just make sure it’s a quiet, centered, fiercely loving intention. Think Mother Nature when she’s simply had it. She’s not mad. She just won’t take it anymore. This isn’t about hating anyone. It’s about loving freedom so much, and you’re absolutely adamant we will pass it on to future generations. You will not allow your country to bow to authoritarianism. 2) Do not cave. Do not allow yourself to do one single thing out of fear of unpopularity or retribution, or out of obedience in advance. 3) Remember: Nature is organizing the resistance. The most important thing is to make yourself receptive and available. Do not allow yourself to emotionally spiral down, and if you feel it starting to happen, reach out to a friend for help. Grief is appropriate, but you can’t let it run you. The point is to focus on action. It could be reading a book or an article and continuing to educate yourself on what’s happening. It could be attending a local protest. It could be communicating with your own legislators, particularly if they are Republican. Attend any town halls that are related. What’s important is not the specific action right now so much as the accumulation of energy. People are waking up all over the country, but we have to add to the momentum every day in every way. Do not shy away from posting. You don’t know who is reading and if even one person today opens their eyes to what’s going on because of something that you said or did, you had a successful day. You were born for this. You are not alone. You are part of a field of energy connecting millions of people in this country and around the world. Despite it all, life is beautiful. “In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.” ― Albert Camus You have that invincible summer within you too. Caption : Einstein said we wouldn’t solve the problems of the world from the level of thinking we were at when we created them. Gandhi said the end is inherent in the means. Everything we do is infused with the consciousness with which we do it. Martin Luther King Jr. said we need “quantitative changes in our circumstances and qualitative shifts in our souls.” Everything that happens in the world is a reflection of who we are…and how we think. What am I going to do? What am I going to achieve? How can I create the future I want? All are questions that dominate the inner dialogue of the modern American mind. But a much better life emerges from a different set of questions. How am I showing up for life right now? Who do I need to forgive right now? How can I be more open-hearted right now? Those are the thoughts that make of the present a portal to the most powerful future. As the universe is literally the Thought of Love (or Mind of God), it is set up to deliver us to the highest best things for ourselves and for all the world. It’s our non-loving thoughts that block the way. That is why enlightenment is not a learning, but an unlearning – unlearning the thoughts of fear (or lovelessness) that form barriers to Love. A mindset of fear now dominates the planet, and in releasing those fears – replacing them with love – lies the salvation of world. This is true on an individual level and also on a collective one. Mining and releasing the thoughts of fear – both within ourselves and within our groups, our nations and our species – that is the sacred work we are called to do.Likes : 3630

The world around us is a reflection of who we’ve been until now; the only way to repair the world is if we ourselves are willing to change. Each of us is being put through challenges it seems, somehow perfect for making us who we need to be to do the things we need to do. If we can all just be a little bit kinder, a little more merciful, and a lot more forgiving, that of itself will generate new beginnings. We are all united by invisible filaments and what we think affects the whole. If you’re one of the people experiencing the deep and painful trauma of these times, know that you’re not alone. So many people feel as you do. Somehow, somewhere, Love will yet prevail. But love can’t be something we’re just hoping will appear. Love is waiting for us, and can only appear when we are willing to channel it into the world. It’s so sorely needed now. Most people carry hidden wounds reflecting many untried tears. Life isn’t easy for almost anyone right now. Let’s remember that about each other today, and be more loving, gentler, with everyone. The only way to rid the world of darkness is to dissolve it with the Light. Love is the Light. Understanding is the Light. Forgiveness is the Light. There is no other way.Likes : 3417

Caption : There is no platform for political conversation like a Presidential campaign. The hours I spent talking to eager, decent, intelligent people – so noble when called to be and so willing to make a change – put a light in my heart that will illumine my life forever. How I hope those experiences did the same for them. We didn’t just talk. We shared dreams and reflections of a better world. In the end, how very grateful I am. Despite the ugliness of modern politics, for those hours, and for those experiences, I would do it all again.Likes : 3365

Caption : I feel the energy starting to build. More and more Americans, Republicans as well as Democrats, can see the outlines of a coup. And I don’t think they like it. What’s at stake at this point is nothing less than the U.S. Constitution and the system of government its framers laid out for us. Never perfect, never fully actualized, the Constitution has nonetheless held this country together since it was ratified in 1788. This document of unmistakable genius, mainly the handiwork of 36-year-old James Madison, articulates the legal principles on which, despite some very rough chapters in our history, Americans have agreed to agree. Yet now a bunch of billionaire techno bros have decided they have a better idea. They feel that modern nation states, Constitutions, things like that are just quaint relics of the past and we’d best be rid of them. It would be preposterous if it weren’t so scary, but scary it is… because they’re working this, and they’re working quickly. Elon spent $277M to purchase the right to an Oval Office press conference all his own, plus access to government computers so he can play with the $7 Trillion payment system at the U.S. Treasury like it’s his new toy. He bought it, after all. Why shouldn’t he? Journalist Gil Duran on the Majority Report gave some interesting insight into these techno authoritarians. The more you read about this, the more it twists your head. Of this be very clear: they are not kidding. Current happenings are more than the bullying tactics of immature boys. They are dangerous plans executed by uber wealthy, powerful sociopaths who fail utterly to appreciate the deeper point of a free society. One thing they’re right about is that one or two people calling all the shots is a more “efficient” way of running things – for the very reason that it leaves everyone but them out of the decision-making! And it’s perfect when the puppet they put on top is a billionaire too…someone who gets his kicks from playing on their team… (Read the rest of my article “The Energy is Building” on the linkTree or at mariannewilliamson.substack.com) Photo by Diana Robinson.Likes : 3349

Caption : Today is a bit of a significant day for me; I won’t be using my political megaphone in the same way going forward. Tomorrow is the eclipse and I feel “ending and beginning” vibrations within myself. I will be speaking in Washington DC on Monday night, going to New Mexico and Oregon next week, then coming back to the East Coast to speak in Baltimore right after that. To find out more and support those efforts please see Marianne2024.com. But that group of talks will complete my campaign journey. They will give me the opportunity to speak my truth in places where I’m still on the ballot, which is important. For those of you in those areas I hope I will see you there, and that you will vote for me. Martin Luther King Jr. said “the desegregation of the American South is the political externalization of the goal of the civil rights movement, but the ultimate goal is the establishment of the beloved community.” He said “we need external changes in our circumstances and internal shifts in our souls.” The transformational journey that will create a sustainable, even survivable future for the human race entails internal as well as external change. Just as in medicine we realize an integrative approach is necessary to heal the body, we need an integrative approach to healing society as well. The politician of the future is like today’s functional medicine doctor. We need to deal with root causes as well as symptoms, and often those root causes have as much to do with thought and emotion as with anything material. The most powerful leader of the future is a practitioner of change on more levels than one. Going back-and-forth between issues of spiritual change and political change is natural to the way I think. I have bristled when people within the political space have said I should “stay in my lane.” We are multidimensional people and therefore multidimensional citizens. There isn’t supposed to BE a “political lane” in America that leaves out the rest of us; the fact that there has become one has damaged this country greatly. A lot of recalibration is going on now for all of us. Let’s embrace the changes and be open to receive. Miracles are in store. 🙏💖🌻Likes : 3284
