Paloma Faith Instagram - The tour starts in just 8 days and it’s a little bit different to everything that I’ve done before.

This time we don’t have a support act, it’ll just be a full Paloma Faif extravaganza ! The shows will all start at 8pm sharp (so make sure you’re there on time) and will be split into two parts with an interval in the middle so you can get a drink or some merch or have a mingle.

Really excited to show you everything we’ve been working on, make sure to learn the words to the new ones ! And dust up on the old ones (hint x)

Paloma Faith Instagram - The glorification of sadness tour is done !! Mumma is tired but very grateful that after 15 years in the industry I can still go on the road and perform for you lovely people. At times the motherhood journey can feel isolating and lonely and you can feel unable to see wood for trees especially when our culture puts so much pressure on us to do everything alone or feel guilty if we need / ask for / pay for help …. I’ve written this book as a hug for women and an eye opener for men. We are not as alone as we feel and sometimes we just have to know muddling through is all we can do and sometimes just sometimes our best might be enough for our kids

Joyous screams, jelly and ice cream, balloons popping, hysteria and loud music. And then they left, running off to their father’s house because it was “his night.” The house once bursting with energy, now sat still.. Carefree mess, deflated balloons, smeared chocolate on pink velvet chairs.

I sat and stared at the wall, full of sugar, wondering if I was fat and ugly now or just tired and old, after being kept awake by excited children the night before. This was a tragedy one cannot explain. The sound, the frenetic energy completely stopped. The promise of other kids screaming outside, hoping it was my own, saying they couldn’t bear to leave and wanted to come back. But it wouldn’t be. It shouldn’t be. They need both parents.

So they hugged me on their way out, smiling, saying, “Thank you, Mama, for the best party ever.”

And then I was there, worn out, glazed, wondering if I should spend the rest of my free time tidying their mess or go and drink three margaritas and smoke roll-ups…

This was lonely.

Paloma Faith - 21.1K Likes - So I’m just finishing my holiday in Italy this week. This is a photo dump that looks like I went on my own cause I can’t post pics of friends or my kids cause fame isn’t for everyone ! Ahahah! After sooooo much touring this year and the first time as a single mama I was absolutely SHATTERED. Shockingly so infact. It IS different managing kids single handedly , it just is!

When I left on my holiday I as usual thought it would help me relax and figure out my plan and get “the answers” and somehow magic up what the holy eff I should be doing with my life. But I’ve always done that and it only serves to add more pressure and more targets to fail so this time I went away and hit pause on all planning and all worrying and just lived in the moment….. I never do that. So I’m coming back having done nothing , looked after my kids in the same demanding way but in a different environment and I’m going to worry about whether I’m ok when I get back on the horse at home.

This new me is at capacity so she became still for a few weeks and that was enough. If you read my book this was a give in to the chaos moment ! I have NO PLAN!
