Albert Yu-Min Lin Instagram – What a year 2023 has been! Deeply grateful to all of you for being part of this adventure and giving this year so much purpose. Grateful for my teams who made #lostcitiesrevealed possible, And to the communities and scholars who opened their worlds to us. Grateful to my kids/family, who have always been my foundation of joy. The memories of the past year are hard to encompass in a single post or image… but if I had to pick one word to describe the feeling when looking back on the last lap around the sun it would be #grateful.

We are on all one rock floating through space and our history here is our shared journey, a story that is still unfolding. Each civilization, city, or even single life is a unique experiment in the human experience. We look back in time to learn from these experiments, see that breadth of humanity within us, and to help us imagine into reality the stories yet to be written. I hope 2024 is filled with joy, curiosity, and wonder for you and your loved ones. Happy new years!!
