Starting with…… Winning #rocktheblock on @hgtv with @michelboyd was by far one of the greatest highlights of my year. The greatness did not stop there. We also got to hang out with @Barbie which really served as a reminder that dreams do come true. @thecrossoverseries aired on @disneyplus which was by far some of my best work as a costume designer. Cheers to winning an Emmy for best teen series!!!!!!! The strike almost took a bitch out, but we are still here and to the living there is hope. I’m grateful for the new friends I made this year and the old ones I reconnected with, the recipes I learned and the awareness I gained surrounding my health. The old me would have not appreciated that, but I’m not that person any more. I’m also a parent now and in 2024 I just want to be the best at that to a beautiful young lady named, Hazelle. Happiest Mother’s Day!!!!!!!! I miss my mama especially on days like this. My mother was the funniest most loving supportive human. She loved unconditionally. We were each other’s cheerleaders. It’s still hard sometimes being apart of the worst club ever, but I know she is with me. Her prayers still cover me and my niece Hazel. If your mother is gone and you were friends, I totally understand. If your mother is still here, hug her for all of us that can no longer do so. I miss my mama. Happy Mother’s Day anyhow.😘
