Ariel Helwani Instagram – In an unprecedented turn of events, Dan Ige, who was not scheduled to compete tonight nor did he weigh in yesterday, is replacing the sick Brian Ortega to fight Diego Lopes in the co-main of UFC 303.
Ige got the call around 4:30 pm pt / 7:30 pm et. Ninety minutes later, he was en route to the arena and less than an hour later the fight was on after the both weighed in and the commission agreed to sanction the fight.
