So… I filmed something for a song that I wrote but decided the footage should be used for something else. I wrote a different song that I thought I would work better, but as I started finishing that song I realized that the new hook doesn’t match the energy… but I really like the hook… SO, I took that new hook with that old footage in mind and wrote this new verse for this completely new song. I’ve written a lot of sad songs in my time… this one might the saddest one yet. I’ll share the hook soon.

Produced this one, I’m sure I’ll hate it in 2 months as I learn about all the things I did wrong but sounds decent to me for now. Special thanks to @_alessandro_maffei_ for saving me from having to spend hours editing my novice guitar playing abilitiy. If you need a studio guitarist, he’s great.

This is what I call great song-writing! Chris Stapleton’s voice makes it that much better. Alright, now I gotta go write another song.
