Chris Curtis Instagram – First Tri tip. I didn’t close my vents all thebway so I had to smoke it low a second time to be safe. Slightly more done than I wanted but I smoked it like a brisket, and apparently that is the desired doneness. Regardless, it wasn’t dry at all. SUPER moist and tender. Fell apart on your tongue and amazing smokey garlic and rosemary flavor. Smoked some lemon pepper wings to go with it and all in all not a bad family dinner by the pool at all.
Think I’ll try one more tri tip before I move on to Picanha.
