Colman Domingo Instagram – This play is so very near and dear to my heart. I wrote the grief out. It is a tale to make you laugh all the way through it all. When I wrote this play, I wrote that my mother would write to Oprah over and over again. She believed that Oprah would come thru. Who knew that Oprah would actually play the mother of Gil (played by me) in this wild tale of memory, grief, love and at the end of the day a deconstructed fairy tale of sorts. Starring @thisissharonwashington @thealexnewell @willtylerjames and directed by me for @audible Hits the streaming platform on June 13th. The Legendary @kathryn_bostic and @huntercurra provide the masterful sound, score and composition.
