One of the toughest things for me in the past was being able to be happy in my own company … which happens a lot in this industry … and especially whilst missing my kids in Aus (and it being Fathers Day… and my partner isn’t here either). BUT now I’m in a different place in life. I’m just as happy in the cinema by myself as I am in the pub by myself having a roast. Will be watching the game by myself later as well I reckon. And I honestly can’t wait. So many years of feeling like I need to be surrounded by people or “doing something, somewhere” all the time. Eating out doesn’t always have to be with other people and pubs don’t always have to involve getting battered… but England defo need to win later 👀
The commute from Brisbane to London is no joke but I have to do it 20 or so times a year. I live a pretty traffic / stress free life in Aus. So when I’m sat in standstill traffic in London I just gotta keep it moving.

Done some crazy mad dashes in my time but this one was up there with the maddest ! Off stage at 8:35pm and then to Heathrow to catch a 10:15pm to Brisbane. Was flying out the following morning but changed my flight to get home to the kids a little sooner. They’re worth the drama haha. Hand luggage only for the commute from UK to Australia. Had I had check-in luggage I would’ve missed the flight this time. Thanks to everyone at Marlow for the energy. And thanks to my team for getting me home in time for cuddles.
