班塔延島世世代代主要都是以捕魚來維持生計，為了能保存漁獲並確保能長期保存，他們發展出一項完美的曬魚技法，古老且傳統，卻在烈日之下，不但能延長漁獲的保存期限，還能增添風味，成為當地人最珍愛的美食。
As you wander through the quaint villages and along the pristine coastline of this idyllic island, you’ll encounter scenes that speak volumes about the islanders’ way of life and their close relationship with the sea. During our first morning on this island, my mum and I strolled along the shoreline witnessing rows of wooden racks laden with freshly caught fish, laid out to bask in the warm tropical sun.
