Giancarlo Commare Instagram – Amare se stessi è l’unico modo per riuscire ad amare qualcun altro. Nella nostra società, però, questo concetto viene spesso confuso con l’individualismo, che con l’amore non ha niente a che fare. Anziché sentirsi parte di un insieme, le persone tendono a vivere come proiettili sparati nella storia: veloci, violenti e soli. «Credo che la difficoltà stia nel fatto che viviamo in una società che corre veramente troppo. Io stesso soffro questa cosa, perché mi sento spesso in ritardo. Parlando con chi mi circonda, però, mi accorgo che è una sensazione che in realtà accomuna quasi tutti», racconta @giancarlocommare, protagonista di Maschile Plurale. Il film è uscito nelle sale il 15 febbraio scorso, a due anni dall’uscita su @primevideo del precedente Maschile singolare, opera prima di Alessandro Guida e in occasione del Pride Month, la piattaforma di streaming partecipa ai festeggiamenti lanciando questo secondo capitolo il 20 giugno. Abbiamo incontrato Giancarlo per parlare del progetto.

Loving oneself is the only way to succeed in loving someone else. In our society, however, this concept is often confused with individualism, which has nothing to do with love. Instead of feeling part of a whole, people tend to live like bullets fired into history: fast, violent and alone. “I think the difficulty lies in the fact that we live in a society that really runs too fast. I suffer from this myself, because I often feel that I am lagging behind. Talking to those around me, however, I realize that it’s a feeling that actually unites almost everyone,” says @giancarlocommare, protagonist of Maschile Plurale. The film was released in theaters on Feb. 15, two years after the release on @primevideo of the previous Maschile singolare, Alessandro Guida’s debut feature, and to mark Pride Month, the streaming platform is participating in the celebration by launching this second chapter on June 20. We caught up with Giancarlo to talk about the project.
