Hunter Doohan Instagram – After being repeatedly misdiagnosed, my dad was diagnosed with ALS in 2017. He passed away in July of that year. No amount of time would’ve been enough, but it felt like it happened so fast and was a complete shock. He was always so active and full of life. To see this disease rob him of his ability to walk, speak and eventually breathe was devastating. I miss him so much. I feel for every family who has gone/is going through this and I hope one day soon nobody will have to. That’s why I’m proud to continue supporting @projectals and their tireless work to fund and find a cure for ALS especially during ALS Awareness month.
