Very sad to hear about the passing of Richard Simmons. This photo was taken around the time of the Jackass series. We were walking thru an airport and spotted Richard. As you can see I was having a hard time containing my glee around him. But he was wonderful about it and snapped off a few photos with everybody. What charisma and energy he had. His appearances on Stern and Letterman were legendary. And best of all he helped so many people with their difficulties concerning their overall fitness and mental health. He was one a kind. Congratulations to Knoxville’s @toddlhelton for getting inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. I played against Todd when he was at Central High School and I was at South-Young. He was a couple years behind me but always impossible to get out. One time we showed up to Central without enough players for a game, so their coach Bud Bales loaned us their two best players (who were Chris Freeman and Todd of course) so we could actually play that day. So he was my teammate for one game. For one game I got to play with the only person from Knoxville,Tn to ever be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Heck yeah, Todd way to go!! 🎉

This week on #prettysureicanfly we interview free solo legend and urban climber @alainrobertofficial aka the French Spiderman. He gained underground acclaim free solo-ing up the most dangerous rock walls in history then gained international celebrity by free soloing up the sides of skyscrapers(sometimes in cowboy boots.) All this while being f disabled from surviving a 6 story fall. 😳 I was shocked to hear that. I thought his grip strength would be superhuman, but due to the injury it’s prolly that of an eight year old. It’s his will that’s superhuman. The one and only Alain Robert.
