Kamala Harris has been an excellent Vice President, an electric campaigner, and is the strongest candidate to defeat Donald Trump.
Congratulations to @silviafosterfrau and her colleagues at @washingtonpost on winning the Pulitzer in National Reporting today for their series “American Icon” about the devastation the AR-15 has caused as the weapon of choice in many mass shootings! Silvia had the lead byline on two of a handful of stories in the series. ¡Felicidades!

The Latino Community Foundation thanks @potus for his service to our country. We look forward to working with his administration in these final months to continue building the just society our Latino communities deserve.
This year’s @behipgive conference in the Windy City reminded us of the abundance of Corazón y Poder in philanthropy. The time to make investments in organizations that unleash our civic and economic power is now. The grassroots organizations we work with hold the key to getting out the vote, ensuring people are counted in the Census, and helping small business owners grow. We are powerful and when we work together, we can go further and faster as we work to build a multi-racial democracy. Our hearts are full after seeing philanthropic leaders from all over the country uniting to learn from one another, to reconnect, and to celebrate. We’re already looking forward to the next HIP conference in the Land of Enchantment next year! 🏜️
A wonderful visit to Chautauqua Institution.
Happy to join @rosiecastro96 today to visit with @nalac_arts Leadership Institute Fellows to discuss the powerful role the arts play in sparking progress toward justice, equality and prosperity in our country.

LCF and our community partners like @comitecivicodelvalle and @ivequityjustice are prepared to Activate Imperial! LCF convened our nonprofit partners and local leaders in the Imperial Valley for a discussion on local capacity building, community needs, and funding opportunities for the region. Lithium in the Salton Sea region has the potential to help transform the communities of that area, while helping our state to reach its climate goals. LCF supports California becoming a competitive source of lithium and prioritizing fair and inclusive investment in the hardworking communities of the Salton Sea region. Thank you to @repraulruizmd, our nonprofit partners, as well as the local officials of the Imperial Valley who participated in our community roundtable. LCF is proud to have partnered with our grassroots partners in the IV for many years. We look forward to deepening our relationships with community leaders and continue building an equitable, just future for Latino families.
