LCF and our community partners like @comitecivicodelvalle and @ivequityjustice are prepared to Activate Imperial! LCF convened our nonprofit partners and local leaders in the Imperial Valley for a discussion on local capacity building, community needs, and funding opportunities for the region. Lithium in the Salton Sea region has the potential to help transform the communities of that area, while helping our state to reach its climate goals. LCF supports California becoming a competitive source of lithium and prioritizing fair and inclusive investment in the hardworking communities of the Salton Sea region. Thank you to @repraulruizmd, our nonprofit partners, as well as the local officials of the Imperial Valley who participated in our community roundtable. LCF is proud to have partnered with our grassroots partners in the IV for many years. We look forward to deepening our relationships with community leaders and continue building an equitable, just future for Latino families.
