My grandparents mean the absolute world to me, this video and memory is one I’ll cherish forever. Being on the other side of the world and not being able to contact them throughout the Olympic games was extremely challenging for young me. So waking up the day after my race and seeing this video was just as special as standing on the podium receiving the medal. Accomplishments are great… but being able to share those accomplishments with family and friends that have been there with you every step of the way is the most special part of my job. It’s what continues to inspire and motivate me every single day. I hope I can sometime soon have that euphoric feeling again and make all my loved ones and supporters proud. 🚀

2 years ago I had one of the more special races I’ve had in my career. Ive been fortunate enough to watch lots of World Records be broken throughout my career, but I never fully believed I could or would break an individual World Record myself. That moment in time is one of my more prouder to date and it helped me unlock the confidence in myself I’ve needed over the past few seasons of swimming. Anything is possible, work hard and dream big 🤍
