I am delighted to announce that starting today, our deserving citizens will receive the enhanced NTR Bharosa pension at their doorstep. Alongside all the MLAs of Kutami, I performed my duty by leading the distribution in Guntur, ensuring the enhanced pension, including arrears, reached the doorsteps of 65.31 lakh citizens. The elderly, widows, single women, handloom workers, toddy tappers, fishermen, transgenders and artists will receive Rs 4,000 pm as a pension. For our specially-abled citizens, the pension has been revised from Rs 3,000 pm to Rs 6,000. For those 24,318 sisters and brothers, who have been suffering from serious ailments, the pension has been increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000.
