Where a trainer doesn’t want to interrupt their client mid-conversation. So, instead of cutting you off, they just give the equipment a little “come on now” tap. Then we do it again, then again…😂 Please feel free to tell us about your dream you had last night, where you rode a pig around your childhood school while singing Taylor Swift. I saw it, and I fancy myself a bit of a gymnast, so naturally, I thought….this looks super easy… Make sure you measure the TRX rope first! My knees barely survived 😅😅 I call this a success, though! You wouldn’t do 100 Lat Pulldowns, or 100 Leg Presses (or maybe you would, if you’re a mad head, or someone trainingto defeat their nemesis in an 80s movie), so why do you do this to your Abs?? It’s true that Abs are made in the kitchen – and that’s a post for another day! But if we’re talking training, and you want those slabs to pop out so you can take your top off at Ushuaia in Ibiza, then treat them properly! They’re not so different…. Progressive Overload: “Strength Training that involves gradually increasing the intensity or difficulty of workouts over time” It’s crazy simple. It doesn’t need to be on a decline bench. This can be utilised in many different core workouts. Just figure out how to make it harder, heavier, slower. And get it done! Here’s some notes to leave you with: •Form over Reps: Quality movements prevent injury and maximize gains. •Breath Work: Exhale during the contraction phase (crunching up) and inhale during the extension phase (lowering down). •Control: Slow and controlled movements are more effective than fast, sloppy reps. •Engage Core: Always keep your core engaged to support your spine and maintain proper form. 📸 @dancollinsphoto #core #abworkout #progressiveoverload

Here’s an example of one of my Back Days: Pull Ups – 4 x 10 Stiff Arm Pulldowns – 3 x 12-15 Single Arm Pulldowns – 3 x 10-12 Close Grip Rows – 3 x 10-12 Wide Grip Rows – 2 x 12-15 Incline Shrugs – 2 x 12-15 But remember, you do what suits you! Find regressions for anything that is a little too difficult. No worries if you can’t nail something first go. It’s not a race. Take your time and nail that technique first! You got this! 🫵🏼👊🏼

Started with 3 sets of a Leg Circuit, including: Sled Push Walking Lunges – 50m Hip Thrusts – 2-3 sec hold at top Sled Pull Low Squat Jumps Then, an time efficient workout of: Hip Extensions – 3 x 12 reps Hack Squats – 3 x 8-10 reps RDLs – 2 x 8 reps Leg Press – 1 x 12 reps, with 2x Myo Sets (rest for 20 secs after each set, then complete 5 reps) Give it a go if you’re looking for something to get those legs fired up!
