I’ve done my final bow for this run ! Thanks to this beautiful theatre – Sondheim Theatre in Londons West End thinking about of how many great artist who has stood on this stage in the past ! Getting ready for My 3 last shows this weekend @lesmizofficial . It’s been an amazing journey – hardworking but very rewarding time that I will cherish in my heart for a long time . Now my focus will be on my music for a while . And that I’m really looking forward to – hope you’re as excited as I am . I’m also looking forward to revisiting Jean Valjean on the world tour in 2025 . I guess he will live with me for a while now . I’m glad I got to know him ❤️

Känns nästan overkligt att tiden snart är kommen för releasen av mitt nya album “ATLAS”. Jag började jobba med detta album i slutet av pandemin tillsammans med @kathrynwilliamsuk and @edharcourt . Det var ett startskott för något nytt efter att jag summerat mitt liv i min biografi “Att bära sig själv”. Att skriva med dessa två legendarer har varit en fantastisk resa – och säkert inte sista gången vi jobbar ihop . Att dessutom Ed ville producera skivan och bjuda in alla sina fantastiska musiker vänner och kollegor från England och att vi valde att spela in hela skivan i @rakstudios i London har gett den den brittiska färg som jag ville ge den här skivan. “Atlas” är jag 2024 – den är nu och framåt . Jag ville skriva i en traditionell låtskrivarstil . Inspirerad av tidlös klassik 70-ties pop . Den är text och melodi driven skiva . Jag ville att det skulle kännas organiskt – känna människorna i rummet – ville inte att det skulle kännas överdrivet producerat eller fulländad – ville göra något som känns organiskt . Jag ville att det skulle kännas jordat som jag känner att jag är i mitt liv men samtidigt med en lekfullhet – en känsla som kommit till mig när jag blivit äldre . Det är en skiva full av reflektioner över mänskliga känslor som kärlek, hämnd, sorg efter uppbrott och längtan efter något bättre – att alltid hoppas på en bättre dag. Och helt fokusera på att kärleken övervinner allt . Det handlar om manlighet och en önskan att du som människa får visa alla dina färger utan att bli ifrågasatt och känna dig mindre. Det här var bara några reflektioner jag ville dela med mig av här ifrån Spanien där jag är på semester nu för att ladda upp för releasen ! Längtar efter att ni ska få höra detta ! Tack för allt fint ni skrivit om dom två första låtarna “Finger on the trigger” & “Atlas” – älskar när ni delar era tankar ! Tack 🙏 ATLAS SLÄPPS 12 APRIL !
It feels almost unreal that the time has come for the release of my new album “ATLAS”. I started working on this album at the end of the pandemic with @kathrynwilliamsuk and @edharcourt . It was a starting point for something new after I summed up my life in my biography “Carrying Yourself”. Writing with these two legends has been a fantastic journey – and certainly not the last time we work together. Also, the fact that Ed wanted to produce the record and invite all his amazing musician friends and colleagues from England and that we chose to record the whole record in @rakstudios in London has given it the British color that I wanted to give this record. “Atlas” is me in 2024 – it is now and forward. I wanted to write in a traditional songwriting style. Inspired by timeless classic 70s pop. It is a text and melody driven record. I wanted it to feel organic – feel the people in the room – didn’t want it to feel overly produced or perfected – wanted to make something that felt organic. I wanted it to feel grounded as I feel I am in my life but at the same time with a playfulness – a feeling that came to me when I got older. It is a record full of reflections on human emotions such as love, revenge, sadness after a breakup and the longing for something better – to always hope for a better day. And focus entirely on love conquering all. It’s about masculinity and a desire for you as a human being to show all your colors without being questioned and feeling less than. These were just some reflections I wanted to share here from Spain where I’m on holiday now to load up for the release! Can’t wait for you to hear this! Thank you for everything nice you wrote about the first two songs “Finger on the trigger” & “Atlas” – love when you share your thoughts! Thank you 🙏 ATLAS IS OUT APRIL 12!

And I also have to thank you Cameron Mackintosh for always believing in me . From the first day we met at that audition at @donmarwarehouse for the musical The Fix 1996 directed by @sam.mendes_official that I didn’t get 🙂 ….. But instead you offered me Miss Saigon at Drury Lane – and from that moment you have been such a great supporter in my career – even when we haven’t worked together you’ve cared . We’ve done – two productions of “Witches of Eastwick ” together one where I played Micheal Spofford at Drury Lane and another one in Sweden at Cirkus -18 years later – when I played ” Daryl Van Horne ” a production that almost made its way back to England but unfortunately Covid happened 🙁 I’ve played the Phantom in London at its 25th anniversary year and you made my childhood dream come true when you took me over the big sea the year after for my Broadway debut also in Phantom – and took me back 2018 and made me the 30th anniversary Phantom on Broadway . And now we’ve done this together – @lesmizofficial – Jean Valjean in london . For nearly 30 years we have worked together – it’s been a pleasure every time . Here’s for more adventures together – thanks for always seeing me – my hard work and my ambition to grow as an artist . I don’t take it for granted . Much love ❤️ Peter
