Phil Torres Instagram – Heading back to Costa Rica in a couple weeks to spend time with family and of course to spend time with red eyed tree frogs like this! We’re starting by the coast, where I’ll be on the lookout for sea turtles, monkeys, and boas then heading up to the cloud forests where frogs, snakes, butterflies, and hummingbirds abound.
Also— my favorite thing about the red eyed tree frog isn’t their red eye, it’s their lacy and golden nictitating membrane aka third eyelid that is unparalleled in the animal world. | Posted on 10/Dec/2023 22:40:27
