Pugazh Instagram – V.Aarthi a Liver Transplantation patient. Due to the steroids given to save her life during the Liver transplantation, there were several side effects. Primarily, Bile duct compression for which she underwent a major surgery, Hepaticojejunostimy. Followed by Bilateral Avascular Necrosis where the hip joints are affected leading to Bone Reduction. Therefore another major Hip Replacement Surgery for both the hip joints has to be performed now. The surgery has been planned to be carried out at Dr. Rela Institute & Medical Centre, Chennai. The estimation of the surgery, physiotherapy and other medical expenses costs around Rs10,00,000. Her father being an auto driver would not be able to afford such a huge cost.
