To fellow Liverpool fans… only we’ll understand how Jurgen Klopp touched our lives and the impact he had on every one of us. It’s been some journey. It feels like a favorite family member is migrating to another continent. He gave us countless weeks of joy. His team filled our lives with excitement and exhilaration. He made believers out of doubters. He erased fear. He taught us life lessons. He ended decades long droughts and destroyed jinxes. He made us proud. He made us feel alive… in success and in failure. He smiled the Klopp smile. He conducted the Kop orchestra… not with a baton but with the pump of his fist. He brought heavy metal to Anfield. And he said boom.
Years will pass and in all corners of the world… Liverpool fans will always smile at the mention of his name. A smile only we will truly understand. That will be a joy that’s personal to us. The world can judge his time at the club as they please. But only we’ll truly know what it meant. And nothing else would matter to Klopp. And nothing else will matter to us. And nothing else matters. He’ll never walk alone. And he’s given us all these shared memories so that we’ll never walk alone.
