Soham Majumdar Instagram – “It has always been burning since the world’s been turning. No we didn’t light it, but we tried to fight it”
Artists were never supposed to be yes-men/ women. There comes a time when we all need to ponder upon the core of our value system, as to what is it that makes us different? Is it our talent to live another soul or is it our art to question every detail of its creation. Once we figure that out, we wouldn’t have to succumb to phrases like “Hey I am apolitical”, “oh I have nothing to say about that”. We may choose our battles, but trust me it is a constant one, and thanks to theatre, I perhaps garnered some courage to ask a few questions that scare us.
