Experienced the REAL LIFE TOKYO DRIFT in Tokyo last night! TAG SOMEONE WHO WOULD LOVE THIS! We went for coffee at Shibuya crossing and ended up spotting the Tokyo Drift car. Do you know that a lot of car enthusiasts gather here at night and if you want to go for an underground car meet, you just gotta speak to some of them and someone of the other would drive you there? My hands were literally shaking. It was a dream to experience this in real. The water was insanely cold but since we were in Nepal, we just couldn’t miss out on visiting the Muktinath Temple and doing this 😇 Muktinath is a sacred Vishnu God Temple in Nepal. It is one of the 108 Divya Desams and the only Divya Desam located outside India. “Muktinath” means “the place of liberation”. It is believed that taking a dip in the holy waters of the temple’s 108 taps can wash away one’s sins and bring them closer to salvation. People from all over India visit this temple in Nepal. SAVE THIS! This is how you can drive in YOUR OWN CAR and reach the NEPAL- TIBET BORDER! Our route was Delhi -Lucknow -Pokhara- Kagbeni- Muktinath- Lo Manthang- Korala Border. You can get your car permit from Sonauli border for INR 800 per day. Keep it safe as it would be checked often. Additionally you need to get ACAP and TIMS permit from Pokhara / Kathmandu for Lower Mustang. A special Upper Mustang permit a guide is required to reach the border. Only a govt registered trekking company can get you that. You can get in touch with @encampadventures @dalbhatpoweradventures. It was truly one of my most adventurous trips. Imagine not knowing anything about Mustang district in Nepal, not being able to figure out the route or knowing anything about the condition of the route and just heading out with your car!
