➡️According to UNICEF, one thousand children have been amputated losing one or their both legs, since the shelling began, many of them without sedation, pain medication or anaesthesia. It’s a terrifying statistic.
➡️Save the Children reports that ten children are amputated every 24 hours in Gaza. More than 2 million Palestinians in Gaza, almost HALF of them children, are living in unimaginable conditions. Families have almost no access to food or water due to the blocking of humanitarian aid. The medical system is almost completely destroyed and there is a lethal lack of sanitation. Civilians are sheltering in tents under continued bombardment. NOWHERE IS SAFE.
➡️Every day is a constant state of disbelief that this has continued and even debated by the International community and leaders or that it is in any way controversial to call for it to stop.
