Allie Gonino Instagram – Nowhere I’d rather be this #earthday . One thing I learned this past year is that I need to prioritize time in nature. Where I often feel isolated and depleted in man’s world, I feel connected and energized in Gaia’s. How humbling to know that the planet gives everything to sustain us – and yet there is little we can do to give back to Her other than to praise her, shepherd her fragile ecosystems, and speak up for her rights on the world stage. She is proof that one can be full of spines and vines, shadows and venom, and possess unfathomable beauty. Beauty being reason for these survival mechanisms, after all. She doesn’t care about your business, your background, your status, your achievements, or your possessions; and yet, she can nurture you in ways these things cannot. She exists of her own accord and produces in abundance whether we show gratitude or not. She is a living, breathing, conscious, and remembering being. She is our lifeblood. Our shared reality while we exist on this plane.
