Rafah is currently under a relentless assault by occupation forces through coordinated land, air, and sea attacks. The bombardment has resulted in the demolition of dozens of houses, leaving many families homeless and causing significant destruction to the city’s infrastructure. Additionally, Israeli warships have been firing at Palestinians along the coastline, exacerbating the already dire situation for displaced people. The continuous shelling and airstrikes have created an atmosphere of constant fear and uncertainty, making it extremely difficult for civilians to find safety and medical assistance amidst the chaos.
There are no hospitals left in Rafah, including the field hospitals set up in recent months to handle the overwhelming casualties from the genocide. With all medical facilities destroyed, there is no treatment available for the injured, and no medical teams to provide rescue. Survivors of the attacks face life-threatening situations without any hope of receiving care.
