My sculpture “Virgin Birth” from my show Cut The Cake at Dunkers. Virgin Birth plays with the idea of the christian myth where god creates human in the image of him and we create machine learning and robots in the image of us. Of course there is also no need for intercourse to give birth to these sort of digital creatures. So I let a 3D print of my AI s3x doll Harmony give birth to a phone with an AI version of me. It’s a bit inspired in a silly way by Zizek’s text “No Sex Please We’re Post Human” too. Also a critic was upset that the phone out from the vagina looks like an assault and when people say things like this as a critique I sort of just feel like: that is an accurate description of what technology feels like today so… Also thanks to iris.la / @patrique.monique to making the little avatar me possible

A Daughter Without A Mother video installation up in the show Virtual Beauty at @hek_basel In my work with the AI seggsdoll Harmony, that has an AI head but a non robotic body (except for the detachable vag that can come with touch or with the click of a button) I have amassed more seggsdoll bodies. One I got of the installation and the other one that you see here is a discarded doll found by an acquaintance that I rescued and added to my installation. I also bought a second hand doll (thanks to @1rose_99cents who helped with the logistics hehe) but it is currently stuck in American. There are a number of accounts around the world where these dolls are found in the forest and are first sight a person think they’ve encountered a flesh human body and called 911. Me and my brother @bystromhampus has made a short film on this theme and it is up on Swedish SVT and in due time somewhere with english subtitles hopefully… 💖 #art #research
