With the release of her latest album, ‘hummingbird,’ Carly Pearce says that the last two years have been about loss and growth, of healing and happiness, where she concentrated, on “inner work,” and these 14 songs on ‘hummingbird’ incapsulate her confidence that there is light on the other side of darkness.
In her interview with Wendy Wilkinson, Pearce goes on to say that this is part of her story that has made her a better woman and songwriter. “I never thought that the most painful time of my life would become so beneficial to my career as I was vulnerable enough to share.”
The GRAMMY Award winning singer/songwriter also shares her successes and collaborations including her most recent with country superstar Chris Stapleton that earned her a second Grammy nomination for “we don’t fight anymore,” which is on the ‘hummingbird’ album.
COWGIRL Publisher Ken Amorosano met up with Pearce and her team in Nashville for the exclusive cover shoot by photographer Cedrick Jones that captured the essence of the powerful singer and songwriter whose repertoire of successful songs continues to evolve.
